You can’t compare a passionate scene with an intimate one that’s rushed, tinged with tenderness, and full of guilt. For example, the kiss between Ai-oon and May is natural, simple, unexpected, and delicate, as both are exploring uncharted territory. I think placing expectations on the types of kisses is a misguided idea. The most appropriate approach is to analyze the context, nuances, and interpret them. I don’t think it’s right to create a trend where kisses are expected to be a certain way, especially considering that Namtan and Film are new to this. PLUTO has already shown a different dynamic based on emotional intelligence. The girls will have more opportunities (like in Girls Rules), and as they gain confidence, they’ll dare to explore much more advanced dynamics with their characters.
I agree with you on the circumstances of the kiss, every scenery is different and this one is a delicate case, Ai and May are both restrained by the lies and they never kissed (fully at least) before so it’s new to them. The scene itself for me is extremely beautiful, the shots, the gentle touches, the heavy breaths the way Ai Oon craves tasting May just by the look in her eyes (kudos to Namtan). But as a person who appreciates more than anything realistic portrayals, heavy or intimate scenes that is, this kiss was a let down for me. It didn’t feel natural, and I felt NtF restrained, it might have been the director so I’m probably wrong, will see in the future episodes and in GR 🫶🏻

Personally, i am more interested in rich emotions that the writer conveys through their storytelling than a good sex scene. Media could be filled with tons of that, but having an actual good story to back it up is pretty rare. I highly appreciate Pluto for that. Of course, a good treat will always be appreciated 😏 and i think we are gonna get that.
Absolutely correct, we all have different perspectives and all makes sense! I personally want to feel the emotions on a 100% level and to be that way it should feel realistic, but again that’s me and not everyone. I do perfectly understand if someone is giving more importance to the feeling the scene conveys. This scene actually feels intimate regardless of the kiss, it was beautifully executed with the shy neck kisses, touches and heavy breaths not to mention the camera shots, chills. Btw so far Pluto is the only show that actually brings up certain important topics on the table and the acting is on a different level, for me NtF, acting wise they are above everyone I’ve watched so far in a GL, even though I think there’s a lot of talented actresses in other GLs. I’ve watched 13 GLs and this on is definitely my solid n2 even though I don’t know the ending. All of this to say I absolutely love Pluto, hands down one of the best shows in 2024

I believe when everything is cleared up we will get that scene. Episode 8 is gonna be interesting.

In this scene both me and Fabio felt a bit disappointed, but we understand that the scene and the characters were carrying a weight on their chest so I have to agree with you, they couldn’t go fully in! It will definitely be interesting to see the next episodes mainly when the lies are gonna be out of the picture 🫶🏻 regardless NtF remain, at least for me, an excellent duo and phenomenal actresses ❤️
Father saw Ai at May's house. He has nothing to do with anything. :) I will not spoil what happened. Their sex scene is very hot and messy in the book. And I have no idea what they will do with it in the show because it came out of a huge fight about something that already happened in the show. Before they had sex Ai left May in the market to test Peng's theory that she can see. And out of that fight, very intense sex happened. I believe they will take a different approach in the show. I think it will happen out of something very sappy and lovely moment. Ai is a bit awkward when it comes to kissing and all because she has feelings and constantly reminds herself that this is Omm's gir. This bathroom moment worked for me really well.

Personally judging for all of your comments I feel like the show has made Oon a different person (sort of a green flag if it wasn’t for the main lie) so I prefer it this way. I don’t need sex scenes just for the sake of having them, I rather not have it or have it just once at the right time and I think it’s where this show is heading 🫶🏻 the bathroom scene was a bit of a let down for me (Fabio didn’t like at all 😂) I expected more from that kiss but I want to follow what you said that she still a bit awkward because Ai is still hesitating for her main lie!
Yeah shes right about that in the book thier first sex is kinda messy but I remember in the book they have a lot of sex scene but in the series I think theres only two. But even though they cant give us a good love scenes NamtanFilm acting is exceptional compare to any other GL actress, I love Freenbecky but there acting need to improve .
They've deviated a bit from the book, BUT I believe the "dead" person that May is referring to is Oom... She's in a coma, and her cousin told her she may be in a "vegetative state," so she's more than likely thinking that Oom is essentially gone! She is the only person that Ai loves and probably wouldn't forgive her about it she knew what really happened (which I won't spoil).

I think she’s referring to Ben’s mom because in the last episode, the three of them went to visit her at the pagoda. I believe because of Ben lost the case, which led to her mom’s death.
Spoiler free 😊 I am so happy we are finally getting more and more into the story. Finally, I can express my disgust with Oom!!! You connected enough points for me to be finally able to say it 😂 Oom is the worst sister I have ever read/seen. She knows how much Ai sacrificed to help grandma and Oom! She knows May didn't fall in love with her but with Ai and still decided to lie and stay with May even though she didn't love her. AND! Not only did she cheat on May, but she went into another relationship with a person she didn't love. And that's not even everything she has done 😂 I will keep on saying this "Oom can go and get lost in the woods!" 😂 I laughed so hard at Ai's revenge plan. It really showed Ai's true nature. She is a natural born protector! She goes head first, not thinking through the consequences. She is a person that loves fiercely with the whole heart. They are a match made in heaven. While May can get stuck in her head too much, Ai gets to fired up and does dumb sh*t 😂 I love the role of Jan. She didn't really have that much influence on the story in the book. The way she is written for the show is so much better ❤ I may be the only one, but I didn't really dislike the kissing scene 😅😅😅 for me it was more about the moment, the importance. Ai needed that physical reminder and reassurance from May. And May wanted to finally confess. I didn't really mind the awkwardness of the scene because it kinda made sense for me. I think what we are seeing is what the filmmakers wanted. Both Film and Namtan put 100% effort into this show. If the scene was bad, they would redo it. And we know form the first episode that they can kiss. The way I understood the scene is that it is the first time Ai is doing something like this. May is blind, she can't see where Ai wants to kiss, so she has to wait where the kiss lands first before she can change the position. Also, I would say this is the first time May was the receiver and not the giver. I can't really imagine Oom being the one to initiate any intimate activity.... I was already expecting Oom to be a really trash character but not till this point especially knowing that Ai sacrificed a lot for her, you are stealing her girl too? Knowing that she doesn’t love you? Ai did the same at the beginning but she is not going beyond a kiss which she also though it meant for her and not Oom (which it is but she doesn’t know yet). May and Oon are opposites and I love it, they complete each others ❤️ they make sense ❤️ I really love Jan too!! I’m rooting for her to have an happy ending but again I’ve seen the trailer so many times so.. well 🫣 I have to say it, with your perspective it kinda makes sense. But, the thing that did not work for me is the build up of the kiss. 6 and a half episodes in which the teased each others more and more intensely I was expecting the kiss to be an explosion, but again your point kinda makes sense and I can accept it. I’m aware of the dedication of NamtanFilm to this project, so far they were perfection with their characters, literal chills. I’m also aware, unfortunately, that they were extremely shy at the beginning so my fear is that they are still a bit shy and not ready for intimate scenes.. which I hope they’ll prove me wrong in famous episode 11, because then they wouldn’t have any type of excuses, at least not from me. Even though I always say it, I’m okay with anything the actresses are comfortable with, it’s just that I enjoy more when the scenes are portrayed in a realistic way 🫶🏻

She is one of the most selfish, loathsome characters I've ever read in a GL novel, and that's saying something considering the novel version of Ek from Affair. Oom is just complete garbage. In many ways, this is very much a good twin/bad twin situation. I also agree with everything else you said. I like that Jan is more integral to the story. Also, we need to remember that this Ai's first time doing anything more than kissing someone. She's gonna be awkward in her movements. To paraphrase a song title, she fumbling towards ecstacy, because of her inexperience. Lastly, I feel Oom is too selfish to be a giver.
I totally get your POV. I could def see the hesitation and shyness. Personally, I took it as an acting choice, but yeah it could very well be nerves 😂. I am root for Jan so much ❤ I really like the changes they made to the story. It can keep someone like me on my toes even though I know the novel like the back of my hand. For me is the first time for this two actress so i wait to the next chapter (actress themselves said that 8and 11 are the best) to see “a kiss scene with normal feelings”. In this Mae is the most confident that she knows who is the other and her feelings, but Aioom is still thinking that Mae all ways love her sister and she continues with contradictory feelings and insecures, confirmed on how she acts when Mae sais the other names. I got to be honest. The episode 1 kiss still surpasses this. All the tension and I didn't feel it enough. I hope they'd do better in the next one they do. They better not fuck up their love scene. Coz these two has got chemistry
Yep episode 1 kiss was perfectly executed. Film was on point and Namtan too, cause she had to restrain herself since her character had to hold back! The 2 kiss didn’t meet the expectations because the build up was insanely sexually charged and the kiss wasn’t, but they are still lying to each other so maybe it was because of that? I agree with you, the love scene has to be perfect because (and we can guess since the show is heading to that direction) they are gonna do it once the lies are all gone. NtF are great actresses among the best, so I expect a lot from them even in intimate scenes. And yes the chemistry is there I agree
Remember Ai only had experience with guys. This is her first time with May. Also, Ai thinks Oom was May's first love. And to make love to May. It will hurt her. In esp 1 , it was May who kissed her. May has experience with girls. Still more questions. I gave up trying to figure it out, lol. As for Ai 👗 dress. The skirt was too much. A simple, long , straight gown would have been perfect. May in the princess dress. Ai the short dress. Ton has feelings for Ploy.
I‘m so confused half the population on earth loved the kiss on X and tiktok with multiple posts going viral bc it was so sensual and really fit the situation. You guys are also the first reactors who I've seen who didn’t like it…maybe your expectations were a little too high and it’s okay to be disappointed and to have your own opinion about the kiss, but I saw Fabio saying somewhere that the kiss was objectively bad which isn’t something you can really say unless you have a real reason instead of you just not feeling the kiss bc you put your expectations too high…I mean they opened their mouths, moved their lips, had their eyes closed and to me and many other people the kisses conveyed their longing perfectly so I don’t really understand Fabio's point about it feeling "fake". Hi! Thank you for giving us honest feedback, very much appreciated 🫶🏻 first of all I’m Maria so I’ll answer to you on my side. I’ve seen that the episode reached 1.1 M on X trending and 99% of the people liked the kiss and that’s absolutely fine, we are glad that people liked it ❤️ Now, from my perspective the scene felt intimate regardless of the kissing on the lips part, because of the touches, neck kisses, heavy breaths and longing (also the shots with the mirror were amazing). But yes I had high expectations because NtF are on my top 3 favourite actresses in terms of acting so unfortunately I’m a bit harsh because I care a lot about their performance more than the performance of others. I didn’t feel the emotions in the kisses themselves, to me (so my POV) it didn’t feel real enough, I felt the shyness of the actresses through the kisses. We got so many comments saying that the situation was charged with a lot of insecurities, desperation (from Oon side) and “first time” so I understand in a way why the kisses were portrayed like that, however I rewatched 4 times and still didn’t feel enough for me, but that’s okay. Regarding Film, I think she portrayed extremely well the kiss in episode 1, I don’t know where you got the part where she kissed Namtan and she said she prefers women over men, but I personally don’t find it relevant to my point so it’s okay if she said that ❤️ Comparing the kisses is unfortunately something that our brain does not matter what and among 13 GLs I’ve seen, this kiss, despite being not great from my point of you, is one of the best. And to prove you that I’m comparing everything and not just kisses, to me, as a GL couple NamtanFilm in acting is my absolute top 1 right now. And you can quote me 🫶🏻 and it’s probably being the top 1 couple that makes me being more harsh and having high expectations I guess.. That said, my intention and Fabio’s (here I can speak for him) is not to trash NtF but the absolute opposite. We love them and appreciate them for their hard work they put in Pluto, we could see that they care so much! We just hope they can get more comfortable with each other in love scenes as we didn’t feel the connection during that moment, but that’s our personal perspective and we obviously hope they’re proving us wrong later in the episodes. A few things...1--why did Oom send May a wedding invitation? Why would she do that to May? 2--May's friends are garbage. I know that May has changed since meeting Ai, but I wonder if May actually had any real friends growing up. 3--I feel for Ai. She is in deep for May, but she thinks May only sees Oom. That has to hurt. Also, I agree with Fabio. I don't like the bottom of Ai's dress. It looks like a prom dress, but May's dress is pretty. Ton likes Ploy, but Ploy is all about her business right now. The thing is Ai is May's first love, but Ai doesn't know that yet. I have a sneaking suspicion that Ai will figure it out in the next episode, if the previews are to be believed.

My point wasn’t that they didn’t “eat each other out” enough.I was ok with a softer more intimate kiss but the quality of that kiss was awful. It looked extremely fake and with no feelings. I even said that I don’t think they need kisses at all to portray their love and I prefer when they use gentle touches and kisses on neck , shoulders etch. Finally, I can express my disgust with Oom!!! You connected enough points for me to be finally able to say it 😂 Oom is the worst sister I have ever read/seen. She knows how much Ai sacrificed to help grandma and Oom! She knows May didn't fall in love with her but with Ai and still decided to lie and stay with May even though she didn't love her. AND! Not only did she cheat on May, but she went into another relationship with a person she didn't love. And that's not even everything she has done 😂 I will keep on saying this "Oom can go and get lost in the woods!" 😂
I laughed so hard at Ai's revenge plan. It really showed Ai's true nature. She is a natural born protector! She goes head first, not thinking through the consequences. She is a person that loves fiercely with the whole heart. They are a match made in heaven. While May can get stuck in her head too much, Ai gets to fired up and does dumb sh*t 😂 I love the role of Jan. She didn't really have that much influence on the story in the book. The way she is written for the show is so much better ❤
I may be the only one, but I didn't really dislike the kissing scene 😅😅😅 for me it was more about the moment, the importance. Ai needed that physical reminder and reassurance from May. And May wanted to finally confess. I didn't really mind the awkwardness of the scene because it kinda made sense for me. I think what we are seeing is what the filmmakers wanted. Both Film and Namtan put 100% effort into this show. If the scene was bad, they would redo it. And we know form the first episode that they can kiss. The way I understood the scene is that it is the first time Ai is doing something like this. May is blind, she can't see where Ai wants to kiss, so she has to wait where the kiss lands first before she can change the position. Also, I would say this is the first time May was the receiver and not the giver. I can't really imagine Oom being the one to initiate any intimate activity....
Either way, I am fine with being one of the few who enjoyed that scene 😂😂😂😂

I was already expecting Oom to be a really trash character but not till this point especially knowing that Ai sacrificed a lot for her, you are stealing her girl too? Knowing that she doesn’t love you? Ai did the same at the beginning but she is not going beyond a kiss which she also though it meant for her and not Oom (which it is but she doesn’t know yet). May and Oon are opposites and I love it, they complete each others ❤️ they make sense ❤️ I really love Jan too!! I’m rooting for her to have an happy ending but again I’ve seen the trailer so many times so.. well 🫣 I have to say it, with your perspective it kinda makes sense. But, the thing that did not work for me is the build up of the kiss. 6 and a half episodes in which the teased each others more and more intensely I was expecting the kiss to be an explosion, but again your point kinda makes sense and I can accept it. I’m aware of the dedication of NamtanFilm to this project, so far they were perfection with their characters, literal chills. I’m also aware, unfortunately, that they were extremely shy at the beginning so my fear is that they are still a bit shy and not ready for intimate scenes.. which I hope they’ll prove me wrong in famous episode 11, because then they wouldn’t have any type of excuses, at least not from me. Even though I always say it, I’m okay with anything the actresses are comfortable with, it’s just that I enjoy more when the scenes are portrayed in a realistic way 🫶🏻
@@dannyholy8 I could not agree more about Oom. You wanna talk about a red flag definition...it's Oom. She is one of the most selfish, loathsome characters I've ever read in a GL novel, and that's saying something considering the novel version of Ek from Affair. Oom is just complete garbage. In many ways, this is very much a good twin/bad twin situation. I also agree with everything else you said. I like that Jan is more integral to the story. Also, we need to remember that this Ai's first time doing anything more than kissing someone. She's gonna be awkward in her movements. To paraphrase a song title, she fumbling towards ecstacy, because of her inexperience. Lastly, I feel Oom is too selfish to be a giver.
I totally get your POV. I could def see the hesitation and shyness. Personally, I took it as an acting choice, but yeah it could very well be nerves 😂. I am root for Jan so much ❤ I really like the changes they made to the story. It can keep someone like me on my toes even though I know the novel like the back of my hand. I can't wait for the whole show to be out so I can ramble about the differences 😂

I'm agree with Maria, but also think as Fabio that it could be better. For me is the first time for this two actress so i wait to the next chapter (actress themselves said that 8and 11 are the best) to see “a kiss scene with normal feelings”. In this Mae is the most confident that she knows who is the other and her feelings, but Aioom is still thinking that Mae all ways love her sister and she continues with contradictory feelings and insecures, confirmed on how she acts when Mae sais the other names. Let's give Nantam a opportunity to see a kiss scene with “real” feelings.

Yep episode 1 kiss was perfectly executed. Film was on point and Namtan too, cause she had to restrain herself since her character had to hold back! The 2 kiss didn’t meet the expectations because the build up was insanely sexually charged and the kiss wasn’t, but they are still lying to each other so maybe it was because of that? I agree with you, the love scene has to be perfect because (and we can guess since the show is heading to that direction) they are gonna do it once the lies are all gone. NtF are great actresses among the best, so I expect a lot from them even in intimate scenes. And yes the chemistry is there I agree

I‘m so confused half the population on earth loved the kiss on X and tiktok with multiple posts going viral bc it was so sensual and really fit the situation. You guys are also the first reactors who I've seen who didn’t like it…maybe your expectations were a little too high and it’s okay to be disappointed and to have your own opinion about the kiss, but I saw Fabio saying somewhere that the kiss was objectively bad which isn’t something you can really say unless you have a real reason instead of you just not feeling the kiss bc you put your expectations too high…I mean they opened their mouths, moved their lips, had their eyes closed and to me and many other people the kisses conveyed their longing perfectly so I don’t really understand Fabio's point about it feeling "fake". Hi! Thank you for giving us honest feedback, very much appreciated 🫶🏻 first of all I’m Maria so I’ll answer to you on my side. I’ve seen that the episode reached 1.1 M on X trending and 99% of the people liked the kiss and that’s absolutely fine, we are glad that people liked it ❤️ Now, from my perspective the scene felt intimate regardless of the kissing on the lips part, because of the touches, neck kisses, heavy breaths and longing (also the shots with the mirror were amazing). But yes I had high expectations because NtF are on my top 3 favourite actresses in terms of acting so unfortunately I’m a bit harsh because I care a lot about their performance more than the performance of others. I didn’t feel the emotions in the kisses themselves, to me (so my POV) it didn’t feel real enough, I felt the shyness of the actresses through the kisses. We got so many comments saying that the situation was charged with a lot of insecurities, desperation (from Oon side) and “first time” so I understand in a way why the kisses were portrayed like that, however I rewatched 4 times and still didn’t feel enough for me, but that’s okay. Regarding Film, I think she portrayed extremely well the kiss in episode 1, I don’t know where you got the part where she kissed Namtan and she said she prefers women over men, but I personally don’t find it relevant to my point so it’s okay if she said that ❤️ Comparing the kisses is unfortunately something that our brain does not matter what and among 13 GLs I’ve seen, this kiss, despite being not great from my point of you, is one of the best. And to prove you that I’m comparing everything and not just kisses, to me, as a GL couple NamtanFilm in acting is my absolute top 1 right now. And you can quote me 🫶🏻 and it’s probably being the top 1 couple that makes me being more harsh and having high expectations I guess..
That said, my intention and Fabio’s (here I can speak for him) is not to trash NtF but the absolute opposite. We love them and appreciate them for their hard work they put in Pluto, we could see that they care so much! We just hope they can get more comfortable with each other in love scenes as we didn’t feel the connection during that moment, but that’s our personal perspective and we obviously hope they’re proving us wrong later in the episodes.

A few things...1--why did Oom send May a wedding invitation? Why would she do that to May? 2--May's friends are garbage. I know that May has changed since meeting Ai, but I wonder if May actually had any real friends growing up. 3--I feel for Ai. She is in deep for May, but she thinks May only sees Oom. That has to hurt. Also, I agree with Fabio. I don't like the bottom of Ai's dress. It looks like a prom dress, but May's dress is pretty. Ton likes Ploy, but Ploy is all about her business right now. The thing is Ai is May's first love, but Ai doesn't know that yet. I have a sneaking suspicion that Ai will figure it out in the next episode, if the previews are to be believed.

My point wasn’t that they didn’t “eat each other out” enough.I was ok with a softer more intimate kiss but the quality of that kiss was awful. It looked extremely fake and with no feelings. I even said that I don’t think they need kisses at all to portray their love and I prefer when they use gentle touches and kisses on neck , shoulders etch. That scene was perfection until they kiss each other on the lips… that ruined it for me.

Just so you know Namtan loves to watch reaction videos who knows maybe she already watch this channel and she will do better in Girl Rules with Film .

I liked that moment just before the kiss, the tension, the kiss itself not so much. And - as Fabio wrote - it's not about the "eat each other out" kiss, something (for me) was missing, But I agree with Maria's comment that Namtan and Film have good skills and I really like their acting and the way they embody these characters and how I as a viewer feel their emotions

How a scene looks depends on how the scriptwriter or director wants it to look and a given scene - this also applies to kissing scenes/love scenes
