Scania is a realy Nice truck to work on.. and realy Nice to change the cab on. Compared to Volvo or daf. They always come with some light or faults on the dash afterwards.. great job👍🏻👍🏻
I love watching accident rebuilds. The skill and results have always fascinated me. I wonder did the driver lose his job/licence over this? You said the police were involved in ep 1?
I have very little truck knowledge but really enjoy your videos, I know a true perfectionist craftsman when I see one, keep up the fantastic work, thank you 🙏
Just started watching, Fantastic job.im an hgv 1 driver for 30yr and surprised the manufacture didn't put ANY insulation nae wounder I was cold at night Sleeping in one...
Great work and great video clip. Just goes to show that some vehicles are written off too quickly. With the waiting time now for new trucks it has become more viable to repair rather than replace. With people with the skills that you and your colleagues have, well repaired vehicles will become normal. Keep up the great work.
Yes the man the team the talent !!! Always good watching professional's do it right the first time. I would have enjoyed watching you repair that cab though! Great stuff. Cheers from Sydney Australia MATE 🇭🇲👍🦘🐨👍🇭🇲
Hi Sebastian, I find it striking that there is no insulation material behind the panels that were placed against the back and sides, if you look at how things are done at Volvo or Daf I discovered insulation material (I have years of experience with both trucks or lorries as you call them!), both against noise and the cold from outside and you know steel is a good conductor of temperature differences. The last years of my driving career I drove a Renault Magnum and there was little or no insulation material behind the panels. I asked the garage to install it and they did, it made a huge difference in noise as the cooling engine is barely 50 centimeters from your bed, I drove with hanging meat in Italy at the time, the very famous Parma ham was made from it!!
@@sebastianjedrzejczyk9597 Thanks for your prompt reply looking forward to more of your daily work that you share with us , hard work but very rewarding.

Does a repair like that have to go on to the log book .If the owner sells the truck in the next year would the repairs be guaranteed for the new owner a truck like that's a big investment I suppose the owners or may be a new owner would have to protect there investment great repair skilled people are priceless
Hi My name is hassan am frm ghana 🇬🇭 honestly l love watching ur video bcos am also a panelbeater but l think if l can enrolled with u l can get alot ot experience frm u thank u
Interesting watching the repair of this truck. This truck serves as an example why I prefer conventional long nose trucks over cab over engine or cab forward truck configurations. There was a ton more work to repair this truck vs what would have needed to be done to a conventional truck. Plus, the driver was the first on the scene of the crash. Those hoods (bonnets) on regular tractors are a whole lot easier and cheaper to repair than replacing the whole cab on these cab forward trucks. Plus they have more room to spread out all the what makes it go bits and pieces so there are less broken and bent in what amounts to the same crash as this truck suffered. (Not near as much stuff crammed at the very front of the truck, much more equipment is placed further back from the front bumper so it is more protected from the crash impact.)
we have overall length limits in Europe and the UK, this is why you will not see many bonneted (Conventional) trucks over here. If you look at the Gross Train Weights, they are significantly greater than the US & Canada. Max weights is 44Ton (Metric Tones @2240lbs, not 2,000lbs - US tons). These European trucks are significantly stronger than their US counterparts!
@@paulfidler9011 if your sayin the standard gross combined vehicle weight is 44 metric tons, that is equivalent to US 97,000 pounds, or 48.5 short tones. Our standard class 8 semi truck tractors can easily handle that weight right out of the box. And many do. Our 80,000 pound limit (40 short tons) is a regulatory limit imposed at the federal level. If your willing to pay the extra fees and taxes, you can get permitted to run at those weights where individual states authorize those weights on their roads. I even drove a few company trucks that were permitted to GCVW weights of 96,000 and 104,500 pounds, and the only change was the was to the registration and permits for the truck. Mechanically and physically it was the same truck. The only equipment change was to the trailer. Additional axles and tires were added to support the added weight as imposed for bridge length rules. That usually required a third axle on the trailer for the 96,000 limit or a 4 axle set for the 104,500 or the truck was set up to pull double or triple trailer sets, which usually entailed adding a pintle hook and additional glad hand airline connections at the rear of the truck in order to hook up trailer tow dolly’s used for multiple trailer combinations.
