I got into saddle hunting with sticks because I hunt 90% public land. When I had my climber, I was looking for a “good tree” not necessarily a “good area”. I agree this is nice option in one’s arsenal if you can find a good tree in a great area, but for $400 I think I’ll add a step aider to the bottom section of my climber and a ratchet strap in my bag. I can still repel down, just saving $400 and I’ll have a much larger platform. The climber bottom I’m thinking of using would be from my X stand so about 6 or 7 lbs. My $0.02. $400 is a lot for most hunters right now. I do not see myself using this technique all the time, just an option in the tool chest.

👏👏👏
There's no way that anything about this stand could be considered loud.

What is the backpack you are using
Not sure that it is fast, but it is quite.
It’s like any other system if you practice it’s smooth quick and quiet for sure

Anyone that says “it’s too loud” is just talking to have something to say. Or to hear themselves talk.
