So many people in Bali, tourist, expat, locals bound together to help Lombok by making donation even until now, business, institution, organization and personal are making moves to help them. Hope Jon can initiate something for Lombok, it was a national disaster and I am sure he can make something for them, he is a good guy.
I was in Thailand around two years ago and I must say it looked a lot like this. The problem down there is that you wanted to throw something away in the trash but there was no trash bins ANYWHERE. Thailand says we dont have have a trash problem well yes you do if you dont have any bins and and close your eyes. It is so sad. Aperently in corona times the water is getting a lot better down there because of so few people down there. Thumbs up for anyone who is still watching in the year 2021!
If you want to explore Lombok then a hike to the amazing volcano Ringani (Samales) which erupted in 1257 and caused widespread famine in Europe the following year would be great to do. I haven't done it unfortunately but I would like to see how you video it. But wait a minute. Did you not do that trip last year I seem to recall when you were caught in the mist etc.
Next u should explore another island, Jon! u can visit Sumba, Bunaken, Wakatobi, Raja Ampat, Belitung, etc that have many beautiful beaches and diving sites. Or if u guys want to see panoramic views from mountain, u may go to Mt. Bromo and Mt. Semeru in East Java and also Mt. Batur and Mt. Agung in Bali. Dont forget to try Indonesian foods ‘cause its truly delicious! I think thats all I can recommend to u. Enjoy your holiday! lots of love from the capital city, Jakarta ❤️

yeap ... same as me. This year in August 18th ( 6.9 magnitude quake ) and August 19th ( 6.3 magnitude ) earthquake in Lombok killed 460 people total. Then in October 10th, 2018 at least 3 people were killed as a shallow 6.0 - magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of the Indonesia's Java and Bali islands
He is, they spoke of donating more than 20k euros in one of their previous vlogs. But I know, people like to ask without actually paying attention to the content ;)
