I find this odd, as I’m totally the opposite. I find the gloves almost serve as a barrier between the viewer and the artist. Like the viewer is either artificial or toxic and have to be guarded against. No gloves feels more inviting and gives the impression that the artist wants to be there. The artist wants to be as close as possible and wants to almost impart a part of themselves into the art. The artist wants the viewer to feel them without gloves on. Although the gloves do give some nice crispy sounds.
