I have and use the water globe /aquarium. I will put usually a rose in it and it magnifies the rose and it will last a full week. I gave it to my grandma for her roses and after she passed I have it and use it for mine.
I loved the white canisters, the green bird planter, and the mercury glass gourd. I have to confess, I am not a huge fan of the color pink, but there were some really nice and pretty pink things on this visit, like the pink stained glass jewelry box, the pink-flowered glass tray, and the pink tea/coffee cups. Of course, I really like the leather toned pink jewelry box you selected to. :)

Susan Velez prayers and hugs. Make sure when she is ready to be discharged back home that she will have Visiting Nurses for awhile, it is covered by Medicare. The nurses will monitor her and will teach you what you both need to know to help her get better. I used to be a Visiting Nurse, now retired, they are a great support . It all seems overwhelming right now but over time things will calm down and you both will feel better.

I have found a few great buys this year. I got 2 kitchen gadget 4 50 cents each. Best find was a signed poster by guy weir. It's double matted & under glass. It wad 1/2 price day & got it 4 $40. An employee told me they found it on line 4 $400. I have not been able 2 find it on line.....yet. Happy hunting!
The black and white plates you showed on an Oct. segment look like 2 plates with Napoleon pictures that I once bought for my late husband and late father-in- law. They were purchased from a 2nd hand store and I now own them both.

I went to Goodwill last weekend. Found a floral recipe tin with recipe cards & two sharpie pens. Also found a wood bed tray & a little side table that the bottom slides under the sofa/chair while you are using it. Love that vintage clock & those pretty green glass bowls.
thanks for taking us along with you on your thrift trip! it's been cold here, and i recently had a nasty cold, so i've been staying home a lot and have cabin fever here in the center of the USA. in the last couple of weeks, i did buy a no-name purse made in China. it has a "mod" design fabric on the front and back, with ladies who are walking around in 1960s looking outfits, which remind me of the cartoon at the beginning of "The Nanny," the Fran Drescher TV show. it is just like new and was only $1.99 plus tax. i'll never use, it but i have it hanging on a door knob in my hallway.

I need another mug like I need another hole in my head, but I can't help it. The owl mug was adorable. He was brightly colored which is different for an owl. I really wanted him. Also, I loved the white cannisters in the grape pattern. They looked overpriced, but they were pretty; I love the way you say You left some item in the store so someone else could enjoy it.
I’m a new subscriber and I love your videos. I recently discovered thrifting 😁 and I love it, but there are no Goodwills where I live. The most recent item I purchased was a pottery barn throw blanket for $7 at a Goodwill about 2 hours away from where I live.

Ahh... On my recent thrifting, I splurged(🙋🙍 guilty). I got a new teaching position and I bought about 5 pairs of dress pants! Still I probably spent less than one pair of the actual retail price as they were good name brands. I also found a vintage mini peacock chair. Contemplating whether I want to keep it or sell it as it's kinda in demand. 🤔 I am always amazed at how you can refrain yourself from buying all the other neat stuff. You have been an inspiration. I have been really cleaning my house, slow but steady. 😅

Ahh... On my recent thrifting, I splurged(🙋🙍 guilty). I got a new teaching position and I bought about 5 pairs of dress pants! Still I probably spent less than one pair of the actual retail price as they were good name brands. I also found a vintage mini peacock chair. Contemplating whether I want to keep it or sell it as it's kinda in demand. 🤔
I am always amazed at how you can refrain yourself from buying all the other neat stuff. You have been an inspiration. I have been really cleaning my house, slow but steady. 😅

Hey there Cami thank you so much for watching. I got that about 7 or 8 years ago at Michaels. It trapped a lot of dust and I eventually got rid of it. I now have a thrifted piece of art in its place in my bathroom now. 💕😁👍 Most of those little animals are now in my hutch. 👍
