Y’all are the absolute best. I made this video and hoped and dreamed it would reach maybe 10 people. I’d get maybe a like and if I was lucky? A subscriber. The fact that this has gotten such a warm and loving response truly means the world to me. Thank you to all of you for watching, I’m at a loss for words. Thank you for the kind words. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I'm also playing an Ironman to fulfill my childhood dream, just like you! I'm a little ahead in progression, but not much. Progressing an iron is painfully slow but incredibly rewarding. Keep up the good work, my friend, you just got a new subscriber!
Welcome back to OSRS! I just started my first Ironman last week, and it's quickly taking over my main. I can't wait to see where our Ironman journeys take us!
I love the story that we played back in the day, usually f2p, never really mastered anything, and now for that nostalgia... We are Ironmen! Looking forward to your journey!
I actually just did this smithing grind but only went to 87 smithing because the grog in the Giants Sword minigame can boost smithing by +4. I didn't have enough time to do 91 for real haha, but I'm sure I'll circle back to 99 eventually. Edit: Btw, if you do any amount of Hallowed Sepulchre you will have plenty of adamant and runite bolts, they drop like candy there and you'll be there a while to train agility.
Wow, strong first impression. Some constructive criticism, don't take it the wrong way. You spoke slow when you weren't doing a voice over. Take 5:00 for example, to me 1.5x speed sounds better. The intro was beautiful! That being said I think you made a conscious thought about the series' story like the Scurrious bit. The story is the hook. You're doing great! GL on the series
Hey I appreciate the feedback! Yeah watching this back its crazy the difference between this episode and episode 4's quality where I tried to organize my thoughts first before I spoke. Lotta nerves in this episode lol. Lots to learn and I hope I can continue to get better!
Cool vid! Just go for the chaos alter brother, it's so damn quick. I know people are adverse to dying, but compared to: Gilded altar, you'd have to die more than once every two trips for a full inventory of bones for the gilded altar to be better. Burying, you'd have to die more than 6/7 trips for a full inventory of bones each time for burying to be better. Even the gilded scenario is pretty much impossible. It's so easy to log out when you see a pker, and on the rare occasion they do get you, you have normally done a good chunk of your invent. Without fighting back or any crazy tricks i probably lose an invent of bones for every 15-20 trips?
Bringing a crystal shield and two other pieces of defensive gear helps a ton too. I sometimes PK there and it's amazing how many people don't even try to run with inventories completely full of dragon bones. You have a very good chance of getting away with a crystal shield, mage prayer, and a 30-wild teleport (against a solo PKer).
Love the video, have you thought about playing on fixed mode or maybe smaller resizable mode? Feel like its kind of tough to watch this fullscreen action. Ive also wanted to make this sort of ironman video with my 1600 total iron.
Thanks for this comment! I went back and checked it out on my phone and yeah, it can be tough to see the ui elements. Will definitely look into fixing this going forward! Likely will see changes around episode 4 :).
A good other way to get GP is to slay, slayer will be your best friend for furthering your account from mid to late game and even some items are good for endgame and the GP isnt too terrible either from alchables.
I appreciate the kind words! Thanks for watching :). If I remember right, I spent 1-15 mining tin and copper, then Dorics quest and The Dig Site quest to get from 15 to 33, and then 33-93 was honestly spent either at Motherload Mine (This was the majority of experience), mining shooting stars, or passive gains from things like Guardians of the Rift. I also spent a couple hours trying to get the broken dragon pickaxe from the Volcanic Mine minigame on fossil island, but alas, no luck there.
Yup! Just was working through all the ores I'd gathered at MLM while on the mining grind. I believe I also got some from the ore packs doing Volcanic Mine while hunting for a dragon pickaxe. Sadly no dice there though
wait.... he got 91 smithing... just to get rune crossbow? I mean the diary is awesome, but dang you didn't ever want to go to Crazy archaeologist for an hour?
Dont you worry, friend! While I do some things optimally, I'd be a liar if I didn't say I don't also do my fair share of grinds that aren't the most efficient. Wintertodt was an experience, and I don't think I could do that again if I started over. By hey, thats the beauty of this game, right? So many awesome ways to play. Gl on your grinds!

The first 5 minutes of this video is OSRS in a nutshell. Distraction simulator.
How'd you train all that mining? Also love this series!

Subbed, let's see what you get up to
What were you using to get the ores? Motherload Mine? Enjoyed the video man!
Yup! Just was working through all the ores I'd gathered at MLM while on the mining grind. I believe I also got some from the ore packs doing Volcanic Mine while hunting for a dragon pickaxe. Sadly no dice there though
Barklak was changed in 2020, he'll take the bones direct from your bank.
How did you make the bars for Giant's foundry without stamina potions for blast furnace?
I walked it out. Cost a little bit more and took a little longer but eh, worked for me!
Alright found a new series to watch whle I grind some boring stuff :D
wait.... he got 91 smithing... just to get rune crossbow? I mean the diary is awesome, but dang you didn't ever want to go to Crazy archaeologist for an hour?
To say I took the scenic route is an understatement lol
Dang bro was f2p when the game was at its heights. Even f2p was fun back then.
vomits at the let me get 99 firemaking like every other person always does. I like taking the unbeaten path.

cool vid but ur UI so streched its hard to see anything
Stop copying Settled's personality, it's lame.
