I love this look but don’t feel it’s necessary to use 300 different products to achieve it. I find these Sephora looks always push wayyyyyyyy too many products and you always seem to have the artist use the most expensive products you carry. It would be nice to see a video where you use your own Sephora products and try to keep it to a minimum of products. Nobody really needs 6 primers/ moisturizer before you add the foundation.
i'm sitting here going WHAT THE ACTUAL F... who uses that many products? my face would ERUPT to the moon if i EVER put that many things on my face, hell to the NO...no no no no. WHO DOES THAT? couldn't agree moree shayna! damn.
Shayna Russell thank you 🙏🏻!!!! I was laughing so hard seeing product after product after product and when you thought she can not use another product... dang!!!! Another oneeee! But ironically, i loved the finished look !!!!
Love the eyes ♥️ It's refreshing to see grunge looks, rather than the "Perfection with falsies" look every time. I've never worn falsies, and I never will. This look is perfect! I love it so much! Makeup is art. It's not supposed to be perfect 👌👌
The Cherokee Gypsy omg couldn't agree more. All you see on instagram and TH-cam is cut creases, winged liner, and over the top false lashes. People be lookin straight ridiculous. This is so refreshing.
Cute grunge look, Emily. I like the addition of the multiple glitter products. The multiple textures make the eyes standout. It builds dimension. Love it.
I LOVE this tutorial - mainly because of EMILY. Because of her, I'm actually going to purchase several of the products she utilIzed. She talks you through every step at a very doable pace & her voice and pronunciation are exceptionable. Emily & I, needless to say, are extreme opposites - I'm amerasian, dark brown eyes, dark hair & my skin has yellow undertones. But her video gave me the confidence to try this look, perhaps w/a little tweaking. Thanks Sephora & please more of these tutorials w/EMILY!! She ROCKS!!
I loved this video! Emily is my new favorite tutorial!! Love the explanations and saying it should be fun and that it’s not a perfectly contoured Barbie face. More please!! Loved the whole thing!
I thought it came out AMAZING!! You did your thang girl!! But I have to agree with some of these comments like there is NOOOO way I’ll EVER be able to afford that Kevyn Aucon little pallet that Tatcha dewey skin mist heck I couldn’t afford 90% of the products you used...and that bums me out I am an ADVID makeup lover through years and years of saving and gifts I have a pretty nice makeup collection but NOTHING along the lines of what you used today and that TOTALLY bums me out because I really do wish I could afford those products but I can’t so 🤷🏻♀️But I loved the look I myself would DEFINITELY use all of those “pre” prep steps cuz my face is dry also you pulled it off I really enjoyed watching!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻
LOVED the end result(she's super cute) but im sure there has got to be a way to pare down the amount of products and time for the tutorial. FOUR lip products, come on!
every time i use a primer, I just put a little but even that leads to my foundation to bead up when I apply it. Now I tend to think they're a waste of money.
Susan Liu That used to happen to me all the time, so what I started doing was patting it on instead of rubbing it, helped a ton. I noticed it was silicone based primers that was doing that to me
We took shots every time she said the word grunge and I literally crawled away from the table.Well no more like I was dragged by my foot from the table. Lol This look was beautiful but not practical way to many layers there is such an easier way to get this look.
Did she really just use 5 products before she even got to the foundation???? All I use is a moisturizer with SPF before foundation and that's perfectly sufficient, primer is a completely useless product.

I can't say how much I learnt from this video, Emily, a big THANK YOU! Got it downloaded. Need to re-watch and take notes. Hope to see you more...
I don't have a problem with the amount of products and steps she takes... Actually I found interesting how she mixes all that stuff
Could have definitely used this in the 80's!!! GOOD LOOK!!!!
Great look. I'm always so distracted when people have hair in their face when doing their make up though.

every time i use a primer, I just put a little but even that leads to my foundation to bead up when I apply it. Now I tend to think they're a waste of money.
Susan Liu

Not for me but looks cute on you
We took shots every time she said the word grunge and I literally crawled away from the table.Well no more like I was dragged by my foot from the table. Lol

I wish she moved her hair out of the way for a more seamless and even application
Did she really just use 5 products before she even got to the foundation???? All I use is a moisturizer with SPF before foundation and that's perfectly sufficient, primer is a completely useless product.
28 different products piled on the face, talk about EXCESSIVE!
I don't like the foundation color. Wrong color 🤔
