    Amazing!! Hey! I have a question. I am planning on making a new layout with hot products, such as the sub terrain and the just plug light system. In another video on this system, you mentioned that you have nano lights for buildings. I would like to install those types on my big train station and I was wondering if you may make a future video on how to install nano lights?

      Hello! Thank you for your interest in our products. We do not have timers for individual lights. We have a Sequencing Light Hub JP5680. The Sequencing Light Hub will allow up to four Just Plug lights to individually sequence on and off. Includes dimmer and speed controls. You can turn sequencing off to use as a Light Hub.

    Hi this system seems very simple to use and I am excited about the possibilities of using them on my layout. Is there a way to have a layout full of these and be able to turn them all on, at the same time? I am not an electrician by any stretch of the imagination but I wonder if I will have to go to each light hub, which could be several, to illuminate. Please excuse me if this information is located on your web site.

    • @ModelSceneryExpert
      @ModelSceneryExpert  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Our system can be expanded up to 50 lights per power supply. When expanding your layout, you will need to use Light Hubs and Expansion Hubs. We have an Auxiliary Switch available in the lighting system that can control the lights on the entire layout. We would recommend that you watch our Just Plug Lighting System videos on our Website.

    • @ModelSceneryExpert

You can try following the instructions by plugging it into one of our Light Hubs, which can be powered with one of our Power Supplies or a 16-20VAC or 24VDC train power pack.

      perform. The Just Plug Lighting System should be powered by 16-20VAC or 24VDC. Since you are off the grid, you could use our Just Plug Battery Case to power the Just Plug System. Here is a link to the Battery Case on our Website. woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/show/Item/JP5682/page/1

    Ok this system doesn't seem to be working for me. The connector you're using at the 4:04 mark is not what comes with lampposts and wall mounts. I'm unable to string a few of a small wires together. It's very frustrating. Tired of crawling under table then getting back up to only find one light on but not the other, crawl back under try again now none of them are on, or 2 out of 3, etc. Also when wire break it's nearly impossible to strip wire. Where can I get the connector in video and not the one the (white splicer) that comes in package?

    • @ModelSceneryExpert
      @ModelSceneryExpert  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the Street Light wires are very fine and have enamel insulation (rather than plastic insulation), you can strip the tips of the wire pretty easily using sandpaper. If the wires have plastic insulation, you can use wire strippers or simply pinch the wire insulation off the wire with your thumb and forefinger. The grey/black/red Linker Plugs are not available for purchase separately.
      The Linker Plugs that you have under your layout, are they attached to a panel or to the table? It sounds like that as you crawl out from under the table that the wires are getting bumped and losing contact. It may be helpful if you attach the Linker Plugs to a piece of foam core, Masonite, cardstock or some other material and install it under the table. This would help prevent the wires from getting bumped and shifting. You can use double-sided sticky tape to attach them to the foam core. You can also permanently attach them to wood using a screw. There is a hole in the middle of the white splicer plug that fits a #4 wood screw.
      You may also want to consider using Extension Cables, Extension Wire or an Extension Cable Kit to extend the length of the wires. If you did this, you could create a control panel that is on the outside of your layout for easier access.
