Steve's content is always top notch but it was pretty special having experts to talk with experts and to have this group that covers so many decades of a constantly-adapting platform. The level of engagement and detail is higher and it brings out questions and conversations that you aren't likely to reach otherwise.
Excellent discussion. Brings an early Strike Eagle WSO up to speed on current capabilities and events. A big shout out to Junior who was a big help to us lowly captains in the early classes when everyone was "somebody". And for the great intro to the A-A capabilities of the jet. Big kudos also to the current gen, keep up the good fight against both our enemies and the powerpoint staffers.
Great job moderating, Hacker! Didn't realize when our names were on a jet together in the Rockets it was your first tour in the jet and my last. Man, these stories make me feel old. Especially when the young pup had never heard of a GBU-15! 😂 -Arch
Wow, that was a great success! Hacker did an excellent job as the moderator, too. You could repeat this format (with alcohol) with any one of the forces/fleets where you have contacts with similar results. I particularly liked the fact that some guys on TDY tuned in! 👌
2 hours of great stories..i was at Lakenheath when the f111s left and the f15e's came in as a FEDEX courier....delivering on base...from the infamous duck strike over wales to ''Scoff'' the duck....Eagles and ducks from 1991 until 2003.Cheers very much.
Maverick on F15E - from memory the 3 rail launcher had to be modified and there weren't many of them to start with and Jr is right - the drag even after you got the missiles off was terrible. Yogi

Thanks Steve, for the opportunity to be a part of this!
On the contrary, Junior! Thank you for giving up your time and contributing your thoughts and wisdom.
Agreed, thank you for coming on!

Utterly engaging engrossing content. Verbal history from the pilots who have been there and have done that. More of the same please.
