The blood on the Dr's face at 3:04 reminded me of the time I was doing my Veterinary Nursing practical placement and as I walked past the Vet he asked if I could please hold the dog down so that he could use a razor wire to get rid of the hip ball on the dog's hind leg (yes the dog was under general anaesthetic!) I didn't have time/didn't really think about getting any PPE on and I was only holding down the non-sterilised parts of the dog, so I just kinda did it right away. I was watching the vet with the razor wire and trying to hold the dog down whilst leaning out of the way so that when the hip ball finally popped off it didn't hit me in the face! So it popped off, thankfully missed me and hit the wall. Another vet nurse found it somewhere on the floor and was like, "got it!" Next thing we're in the middle of the next animal's surgery and the Vet randomly starts laughing and says to the other nurse, "look at her face" (whilst pointing at me). I was like, "what?! What's wrong with it?!" and the Vet goes, "you have blood on it... and I THINK a bit of bone..." I walked straight over to the mirror to inspect my face and was just like, "yeah, that's bone. Ew." I had tiny blood splatters of blood on my face and at least 3 bits of bone on it (the bits of bone were tiny... I never even felt ANY of it hit my face!) Glad the Vet noticed because otherwise I would have caught the train home with blood and bone on my face lol 😂
