I love the way he sees the intangible value of the cars; he likes the people as much as the cars themselves.

I was sad when he no longer did the Late Show. And now seeing this, I like him even more. I'm learning Jay Leno is s a super down-to-earth guy.

Just love Jay, thanks for being our friend out here. Fun channel! Adorable story! So glad you bought the car from a sweet Little Old Lady!! Our family car was a '55 Buick we took to Japan and back and I learned to drive in it. My Dad said he wished he never sold it in San Francisco in 1970ish. Wish I could find it but the DMV search didn't have it anymore. Boo hoo... Yea! YOU BET YOUR LIFE is a perfect fit, Jay!!

It's obvious when Jay is talking cars, he's a happy man. He is an entertainer but deep down he's just a car guy.

    "Everyone has a Ferrari".......................LOL.
After being a gearhead and wrenching on my own rides, the car that really impressed me was a one off build of an old Fiat that was powered by a 500 cubic inch Cadillac V8 in the backseat! Too bad it was a drug runner's car in the custody of the Sheriff's department.
I'm an old phart and many cars don't impress me at all.
    Johnny was unique.
    Jay was unique.
IMHO, Jimmy Fallon is trying to be a Johnny.

There's a reason he was chosen over Letterman AND Conan to host " The Tonight Show " and why he's best friends with Jerry Seinfeld and he's coming back to host "You Bet Your Life ".

@@nathankrush3289 He was chosen because Jay Leno goes by the book. NBC thought letterman was a little over the top with his "Stupid Pet Tricks" and Top Ten bits which became popular by the way. Lettermen introduced animals in general with Jack Hannah. Lettermen was also the first to do remotes on late night, a lot of things conan took , he took from lettermen but made it more absurd. Jay Leno was funny but he definitely didn't do over the top sketches and Conan was simply more ratchet and appealed to younger viewers. And the demographic for late night is mostly older viewers. In my opinion Conan should of never of left late night and just been patient. Conan lost the tonight show because he was putting pressure on NBC to remove Jay Leno when they weren't ready to. Simply Conans audience wasn't mature enough to control the demographic for the Tonight Show at the period of time but he definitely would do a better job than Jimmy Fallon.
