i've been going to this site for years with my mates and I've seen it improve so much not that it wasn't an awesome place to begin with ...looking forward to going again in 2024
24:07 Look ma, I'm on the internet. Funny I should find a video of myself on the internet playing the musical washing machine. The game is a rhythm game (same genre as stuff like DDR or Guitar Hero) but the notes fly out from the centre and the aim is to hit the notes with the buttons or touch screen. There are also swipe notes which require you to tap on the button when it reaches the rim and swipe down the screen in pace of the star.
The game at 24:07 is maimai. It’s a Japanese music game which is why you probably haven’t seen or heard of it before. It’s what me and a lot of other people end up going here for.
Yeah, I've been to this place a couple of times (which I love BTW😉) and both times I notice they tend to have a playlist of music videos playing on the screen, mainly oldies and guilty pleasures. It's just I swear I spotted Bruce Willis a couple of times on the screen in your video. It is nearing Christmas time after all so I wouldn't be surprised it they were playing it! 😅
Most kids who did not live through the 80's or 90's would not appreciate these arcades, unfortunately. To them they're more into modern consoles..so the bar is set too high for these old games.
Looks amazing, definitely going to check this place out.
100% recommend it 👍🏻
only live round the corner and i love it, my 2 boys love it too. value for money... its very busy on saturdays too.
I absolutely love it there.
My favourite cabinet is Pengo.
I played that at the arcade in Morecambe as a kid and always remember it.

Absolutely love it here, so glad you actually gave time to the fantastic food they serve, the El diablo pizza is superb!
Been here a few weeks ago, it is amazing and the staff are really decent too!

9:09 Was that Die Hard playing on the large projector screen on the top floor?
I don’t think it was. I’ve no idea what was playing, I didn’t even notice the screen until you pointed it out.

If they have the Sega R360 I wouldn't mind even paying $40 to try it. It's very rare and it give you the real Gs. I heard it costs almost 100k USD.
Well it's in Bury, UK. They don't take USD, only GBP (£)
Wonder what the electricity bill is like???
You have to put “20p” in the meter rather than the machine before you start 😂
