Ahi Fishing LO Heeia Kea Jilly

My girlfriend Sheila's daughter Jill, caught her first ahi in some rough Kaneohe water; it was a big one at 211 lbs! She cranked, cranked, cranked :O), stuck it with the .44 cal, gaffed and pulled it over the gunnel! And it bit the lure she chose! She's a real fishing trooper!!!

Yes, its a Force 24' with a Volvo D4 225. Jim Patterson does a great job building boats, my second one and loved both! very sea worthy for size.
