Is Fashion Bad?
Well, these beautiful cloths in your wardrobe itself harmless for humankind.
What is bad is the speed of fashion.
So, how the speedy fashion becomes one of the polluted industry?
The industrial revolution, modern technology and influence of celebrities and social media, generated "take, make, waste" fashion paradigm.
Once clothing was fundamental need.
But now it’s a form of social status, recreation. You go for shopping instead of going to sports.
every year 80 billion clothes are being produced, on an average 11 pair of jeans, jacket, dresses per person
and it is four-time higher than in 2000.
It takes almost 200 liters of water to prepare 1 kg of cotton textile to produce a t-shirt or pair of jeans.
Beside this, pesticides, synthetic fertilizer , liquid of hazardous chemical , microfiber from polyester, coal-based power plant , carbon emission contaminating the environment.
Fashion consumers use clothing about half of the ages they used to use 15 years before and discarded them after seven or eight wear ..
A minimum of 39 million tons of clothing waste generates all over the world per year
