Love your video's. I am a woodturner and would love to see something on turning the handles. I can make custom handles if I had the specifications or a video.

Awesome job! Do you have a video on making a handle? Taking the same 4 strand braid here and weaving it back onto itself?

@lou5785 Your welcome Lou and glad you liked the video. Be careful with braiding, it can become addictive.

Let me translate (may be inaccurate -- someone correct me if I'm wrong):
    'This method solves a problem.
You could be called a master with your technique.
    Thank you very much.'

The following books you can get from Amazon.
How to Make Whips (Bushcraft) by Ron Edwards
Encyclopedia of Rawhide and Leather Braiding. by Bruce Grant
Braiding Fine Leather: Techniques of the Australian Whipmakers by David W. Morgan
Don't know about this last one, haven't got it yet but am about to order it to see what it's like.
Just go to Amazon and search for "whip making" in books

That was about 730pm so no eagles about then just one of the many birds in the garden. Keep trying with the twist, it is very easy and you will get there.

Brilliant. Thanks Bernie. I have to get that Encyclopedia from Mr. Grant you spoke of. My I ask which other books have you found worthy of recommendation, besides Mr. Grant? I have found several on-line, but, fancy book covers don't impress me, nor the reviews I read. I value your response. Thanks again.

Just type braiding a dog lead into the youtube search box and you will come up with a heap of videos on the subject.
