Nice match. Having the riflemen grouped up helped them to quickly kill their targets that required 2-3 shots since they often locked on to the same target. Something to try again maybe? This game has so many interesting potential strategies.
I know it seems counterintuitive, but it kind of did seem to help, right? I'll have to test it out.

I would say you got a lot of techs very early for only a few units each. (Shields for Ws and range for Ms). Also the opponent didn't get much chaff, which made it an easy win.
I like your fast-paced editing. Some of the other MB uploads leave all the downtime in the video.

Thank you btw. I do my best to edit out the slow parts while still keeping the gameplay and decision making. I didn't have a lot of Wasps for shields, but I did feel like it was important to put pressure on his flank because that was either my win condition or my fail safe haha. I could have taken advantage of his lack of aa and added more Wasps for sure.

My thought was the deployment module. Keeps the wasps in play for one more round, gives you another round win, and pressures him to keep building AA all over just so he can deal with them. A cheeky sell after would be nice, too.
But I'm stuck at 1200 so what do I know. Lol
Right after I got Haste, I cut out a part where I said, "I could have gone Deployment and moved the Wasps to the other side" haha. So we had very similar thinking on that.
Nice. I for sure thought the screw up in the beginning was going to put you behind, but it looks like the other guy didn't capitalize on it and it worked out in your favor, nice turn around.
My first thought was, "ah, man, TH-cam is going to roast me." 🤣

@@WhoopedGG so far out of the 4 matches I've had. the two who spoke were quite friendly. I like how it makes you adapt and overcome your situations. I do wish there was a way to queue for the horde mode though.
IMO you don't ever go for early loans to win starting rounds - they don't matter. Health is just another resource, you can absolutely afford to lose the first, say, 3 rounds (minimize damage of course) to build a strategic long term board and keep you economy strong to maintain tempo. Ultimately, the game is about winning the last round, not necessarily the ones before it. Conversely, I'd say you always loan on round 7 or beyond, maybe 6 if you feel you can go for the kill. None of this is a hard and fast rule, of course, but a good guidelines I feel.
Edit: oh you in fact didn't loan on turn one. You said 'tap into quick supply', but you clicked 'mass recruit', you meant the 200 quick supply of the specialist you picked.

I like the Sandworm. It's a solid aggro unit. Sandstorm is a strong tech, and it also has a crazy health regen tech you can get as well. I don't typically play aggro, but if I was doing a Steel Ball push, I'd want Sandworms for sure. Wbu?
@@WhoopedGG i have found it difficult to make work. I really want to use it more but it seems like a bad use of money everytime. I find there are few scenarios where a different giant wouldnt be a more appropiate pick. I am not really a aggro player tho, so thats prob the reason. (Plus im at 1075 MMR so there def still a learing curve to expirience)
