Hey Whoopi! The printed program says it was based off of the last supper! They can’t delete or change that program as they did online. Do your research, Ladies. Everyone is proud of the young and hard working Olympians. You ladies, however, diffused the issue. Granted, you all are hard working with so many hours in a day. Btw, many LGBTQ Christians felt offended by the performance. And, yes, let’s do move on and focus on the positive. But, let’s not be steered and brainwashed by the cover ups. Even if it wasn't the Last supper, can we talk about decency. Respect. THAT MANS PRIVATES WERE HANGING OUT! And with children watching all over the world. And with physical children nearby! It had absolutely nothing to do with Christ. It was Dionysus/Bacchus the OLYMPIAN god of wine, agriculture and celebration. He was in the middle of the table at the end. His image is used all over the world and is very recognisable. He appears in two disney movies, Fantasia and Hercules. It was extremely obvious to most people around the world. Educate yourself before you complain. This is why the rest of the world sees the U.S. as an uneducated joke.

The Olympic Committee is an organization with rules; check Rule 50 of the Olympic Charter, which states that "no kind of demonstration or political, religious, or racial propaganda" is permitted. There is clearly political propaganda here, not only with this but also with their song "Nue." Meanwhile, they are not really caring about the athletes: they ran out of food, there is no air conditioning, some athletes are leaving for hotels to get proper rest and nutrition. Apparently, they are more worried about other things than the athletes.

For all those who suggest that those of us who protested the spectacle of the Olympics last Friday are not educated: Da Vinci's "The Last Supper" was finished in 1498. Van Bijlert's "Festin des Dieux" was painted in 1635, as a paganization of Da Vinci's already famous work, since that feast of Dionysus was usually illustrated in forests and fields, according to Greco-Latin literature, but as an act of rebellion to the numerous religious commissions, they took the image of the table, changed the appearance of the central figure to make it look like Christ and 'expanded' the concept of the Holy Supper to a pagan polytheistic one. This was done in countless works (e.g. Balen's Feast of the Gods and Jan 1615), all as a mockery, correction, substitution or even cancellation of biblical messages. I live from and I have been in the art world all my life (those from the Esc Luccetti or fellow Art students at the Universidad del Sagrado can confirm this fact). I am very educated in this field and have done fourteen exhibitions and participated in more than 25 collective exhibitions in and outside of PR (winner of the UNESCO prize, as outstanding painter, 1996). My favorite period was the Renaissance. Believe me, I know a little of what I am talking about. Last supper or not the Olympics are supposed to be a family friendly event for children and people across the world to witness great athleticism and modern arts and technology. Da Vinci's "The Last Supper" was finished in 1498.
Van Bijlert's "Festin des Dieux" was painted in 1635, as a paganization of Da Vinci's already famous work, since that feast of Dionysus was usually illustrated in forests and fields, according to Greco-Latin literature, but as an act of rebellion to the numerous religious commissions, they took the image of the table, changed the appearance of the central figure to make it look like Christ and 'expanded' the concept of the Holy Supper to a pagan polytheistic one. This was done in countless works (e.g. Balen's Feast of the Gods and Jan 1615), all as a mockery, correction, substitution or even cancellation of biblical messages.
I live from and I have been in the art world all my life (those from the Esc Luccetti or fellow Art students at the Universidad del Sagrado can confirm this fact). I am very educated in this field and have done fourteen exhibitions and participated in more than 25 collective exhibitions in and outside of PR (winner of the UNESCO prize, as outstanding painter, 1996). My favorite period was the Renaissance. Believe me, I know a little of what I am talking about.
