For the ki pulse, you can also watch the particles around your body. They spread out during attacks, and then start to gravitate back toward your character. When they are close to you, ki pulse, and you will get all your ki back. This is the visual way to do it without watching your ki bar.

Afro, your equipment weight percentage is slowing you down and making your attacks and dodges use more stamina. The armor you have on is too heavy, you need to look at each armor piece weight before you put it on. You want your weight percentage to be on green, you can put points on your Stamina stat to use heavier armor but you need to have your stamina like level 25-ish to be able to wear full heavy armor sets and have green weight %
So you asked about those green kodama dudes at one point and they should give you buffs that you can equip at the shrine. Buffs like extra money, higher chance to find weapons, and higher chance to find elixirs in loot are some of them. Find kodama, go to shrine, and equip their bonuses.

Yo, wishing you luck with Nioh 2 Afro, just gonna let you know that you can refashion equipment at the blacksmith(Basically allows you to make one set of armor look like another). Another suggestion is to make offering often so that you have plenty of points for the Kodamas Bazaar to get ammo from the shrines when you need it, personally found the feature very useful so figured I share the knowledge.
I really enjoyed this video thank you for a big aspiration for my new channel hoping to get it running soon. Also Afro maybe you should try using different stances for your weapons to clap those monsters easier.
Hey Afro just letting you know high stance is really good to use because the attack is straight up and down and on the enemies so if you wanna break the hard to reach weak spots and do a huge chunk of ki for example the monkey just break that point shiny boi and boom easy win gg no reeeeeeeeeee
I admittedly died a lot to the snake demon but... it wasn't that hard. I mean, I died more to Mezuki and Enera. Snake demon was much easier in comparison.
Afro Pro Tip: When a boss is out of stamina/in the dark realm it is best to use low stance b/c it eats up less stamina so you can attack more and have more ki for dodges/blocking and the like. Great improvement just make sure you utilize EVERYTHING in your disposal (the Onmyo Magic is major power boost).
Just seeing this dude get better and learn is what makes these kind of series fun to watch
