Pastor Jim, would or could FOTF do a short series on how to heal a parent-child relationship with grown children?
Lost 1, then another, then twins before I was 23.
Finally, at almost 36 (1995), got a medical miracle son who is now 25 and a Soldier.
He is dogmatic, amazing, and doesn't walk with the Lord these days.
Many disagreements, hard/deep hurt on both sides, and have long wanted to start the reconciliation process.
I am certain, with a humble heart and the Lord's help, that we can do it.
Many parents out there may be asking the same question... ?
There must be millions of parents that want to reconcile but have closed-hearted kids.
The reverse is likely also true, you know?
Any mini series, interview, book or ?? would be greatly appreciated.
