- Drone footage filmed by the BBC has captured the scale of the numbers continuing to make the dangerous journey from Turkey to Greece by boat. On average, six people die every day on the crossing, with more than 481,000 people making the journey so far. But as Matthew Price explains, this is only the first step of their long journey through Europe.

What would u do if you were in their place? Perhaps in next life. The journey is too risky, to bring women and children, although the more desperate ones do. Of course, we live in a money making world. They are fleeing to richer countries, with history of colonization and exploitation, where the resources end up, and the weapons are made for wars elsewhere.

Steve Mellor they didnt cross the French channel to Britain but they were crossing from Turkey to Greece, and when asked where their final destination was, most of them said Germany Norway etc, none of them mentioned Britain. about the trash, thats how their used on their own countrys, on their countrys they dont even have a landfill, councle bins at their front house they might of only seen it on tv or dream about it and its not their fault but government of their countrys fault, but in EU they will learn not to through trash everywhere, they dont have too when they have bins in every corner of the streets and in their houses, so dont judge the poor humans who are just relived that their made it and throwing the trash for them is like a celebration that they've made it and their live are safe, put ur self in their position just for a moment and you will thing otherwise!
