only look for mimics that spawn as loot on the ground to trick you in motor pool, jug room, the bridge above there, upstairs to the right of pack in spawn (pecks quarters) and where you talk to peck at
Peck's quarters, motor pool and military command/skybridge are the three locations where Sokolov Brahms and Zhabin (accordingly) will spawn in disguised as ground loot. They only spawn once per round, however, lets say you find Brahms at the motor pool and fail to capture him, if that were the case the game would have him respawn next round back at the motor pool instead of spawning a different Mimic at the other two locations. I LOVE the Planet step. It’s really not that hard and it makes perfect story sense when you realize what you’re actually doing in the Easter egg: Linking the 9 realms of Norse Mythology. Also, in solo it’s even easier because the pause button exists.
As silly as cooking a hamburger as a step in Infection is, the island tablet on Carrier can be so goddamn frustrating on solo. To even get to the island you need to collect enough teleporter fragments from teleporting zombies to repair the teleporter. You can only carry one fragment at a time and can't carry any other part including the shovel. So once you finish that after burning several rounds to get enough teleporter fragments, you need to fish up the shovel. Fishing up the shovel can be incredibly stupid. I don't know what the odds are but I've at most 4 rounds training a crawler while trying to fish, without getting the shovel. And then with the shovel, you have to start digging holes everywhere. I've taken as much as 12 teleports just to find the box and the cooldown for the teleport is long, it can cost 2,000 per teleport once you teleport enough in a round, and although you get a short zombie blood when you reenter the map, the teleporter location isn't in a great spot. This tablet can easily make you burn through about 5 rounds with really good RNG because you simply cannot and try to do these steps mid round solo except for obviously the teleporter fragments but even that gets really dicey since the fragments despawn after not nearly a long enough time. And because that isn't the last part of the EE, you can be on on high round 20s or even in the 30s for the shark cage step which is really bad with how strong Zombies get in Exos Zombies.
TLDR: Getting Carrier's Island Tablet is RNG Hell and how long it takes can vary a lot. Personally, I think it is so pointlessly based on RNG and otherwise brings down a pretty good Easter Egg otherwise.
