Holy Cow! I've played this a lot with an orchestra. I would have never imagined it could sound so good on a Uke. LOVE IT on Uke. Great job! All ten of my thumbs up!
gah it's so hard keeping those triplets in the rhythm :) I've been trying this out now and then to mark my improvement because it gets easier when I get better at other songs. haha one day I may be remotely decent. your playing is so relaxed and natural and not a single thing seemed strained. you're amazing, and I hope you keep playing. your arrangement got me to keep expanding my horizons on this instrument
Completement d'accord. It's really pretty amazing how complete and elegant a rendition this, compared to a host of other more complicated takes. And deceptively simply played - it must have been a dog to get right.
I just found this vid and subscribed. Just amazing. I've been a bolero fan for so long and I'm also a couple years into playing the uke. Did you come up with the arrangement? Is there a place that I could find it? I just love it. Thanks for posting it.
Haha! No, not too radioactive so far. But, we have an expression "he's all thumbs" meaning you do not have good dexterity or are clumsy. Which is how I still feel when playing a Uke. But I'm still working on it and it's fun to get better. Thanks again, I plan to figure this out. It is fantastic.
Super inspiring, I really want to learn this song on my ukulele baritone, but I can't find any tabs. Probably I will have to discover how to play the song by myself, and that's a good training hehe.
@@RitaColacoNuminous If you play alone, what matters the tonality ? The only thing is to have an high 4th string, not a low one. And if you can play baritone, you can also have a tenor in high g ? Easyer than to remake the all arrangement ! lol !
@@UkeVal well, I have a low 4th string, I guess if I just tune it I can get the same effect. Lmao, so simple, I wasn't seeing the answer in front of my eyes haha. Thanks!
Was playing guitar and lute for years before taking the uke. (start guitar at 11 and I'm 65 now). But no matter the age, play and enjoy, uke is very enjoyable !!! ;-)

Браво, Маэстро!
J'ai entendu beaucoup de guitares qui malgré les cordes en plus, n'offraient pas une version aussi riche et magnifique.....
Merci beaucoup, peut être l'ukulélé se prête mieux à ce morceau ?
Completement d'accord.

There is a link to the tab in the infos below the vid... ;-)
@@UkeVal thanks you, but I trying to play it in a ukulele baritone, the tuning is different from a ukulele soprano, concerto or tenor.

I'm discovering a new part of TH-cam : grandpas mastering the uke. I like it a lot.
Grandpas had been young to, chicken ! Lol !
