Really enjoyed this. I spent a few years as a kid in Iraq, but this was in a different part, not in the Kurdish areas. So, I understand the craze for Hindi movies there. There used to be a movie hall in Baghdad that only played Amitabh Bachchan films, and they also showed Hindi classics on the national channel every week.

@@shinnosukenohara1201 Very peaceful, but as a kid, I wasn't aware of the atrocities being carried out by the Saddam govt elsewhere. I just remember friendly people, great food, and beautiful roads. I used to live on the Syria border, so lots of tanks and army personnel all around.

I think Kurdistan is quite different from Iraq that we know. Much more westernized. Iraq hardly gives visa these days except you're a Shia pilgrimage. Kurdish people are super cool to be honest.
