The explanations are actually a meme and a reference of when anime wasn't officially subtitled. This means that instead of an actual company or professionals writing the subtitles it would be some random who knew Japanese and some English and just happened to have all necessary equipment to rip and subtitle the anime cds, as a result the subtitles would be unprofessional and weird. Real examples: "People die when they are killed" "I will pleasure myself with this fish" "Just according to keikaku (Translators note: keikaku means plan)" You can actually see something similar to this today if you ever read manga that is made by a group of volunteers from the internet since manga doesn't get the same treatment as the anime by the companies where they will translate it within a week or a day and upload it per chapter

3. The translation was made by me and checked by my friend.
4. I am NOT Japanese, but my friend is. I’m Finnish.
5. Robbie does not curse in Japanese. The curse word used in subtitles is a reference to bad anime fansubs. Same goes with all the unnecessary TL notes!

it's more of a meme from anime subs lol
The explanations are actually a meme and a reference of when anime wasn't officially subtitled. This means that instead of an actual company or professionals writing the subtitles it would be some random who knew Japanese and some English and just happened to have all necessary equipment to rip and subtitle the anime cds, as a result the subtitles would be unprofessional and weird.
Real examples:
"People die when they are killed"
"I will pleasure myself with this fish"
"Just according to keikaku (Translators note: keikaku means plan)"
You can actually see something similar to this today if you ever read manga that is made by a group of volunteers from the internet since manga doesn't get the same treatment as the anime by the companies where they will translate it within a week or a day and upload it per chapter
