শরীয়তপুরের চরাঞ্চলে রাসেলস ভাইপারসহ নানা বিষধর সাপের উপদ্রব বেড়েছে। সাপের আতঙ্কে স্বাভাবিক জীবন ব্যাহত হচ্ছে স্থানীয়দের। গত দুমাসে সাপের ছোবলে আহত হয়েছেন প্রায় দেড়শ জন। সাপে কাটলে ওঝার কাছে না গিয়ে হাসপাতালে যাওয়ার পরামর্শ চিকিৎসকের।
