This is unfair because Keith has an abnormally large mouth that is better for eating crunchy tacos without them falling apart. An average sized mouth will always face crunchy taco structural issues.
As someone with a very small mouth this is so true!! 😭 This is why I always prefer soft tacos because i don't have to worry about my taco falling apart and dropping everywhere.
I love it when Chris shows up - the rubric, the spontaneous songs about tacos making you bald, etc. What more could you ask for? RE: What you should eat next - I'd love to see vegetarian options at different fast food chains - beans, cheese, veggie burgers, etc.
Angelinos we are very aware of the difference between white people tacos and real tacos. If they had wanted to do a real Taco video they would have had to do this at night when all of the wonderful stands are open on the sidewalks, full of hard-working cooks and their homemade deliciousness.
My husband thought he hated Mexican food because he had only ever seen Taco Bell style tacos. Now that there’s an actual Mexican taqueria in our hood (2 now actually! And one Salvadoran! We’re in Toronto and not downtown) we have tacos once or twice a month!! And pupusas!

Chipotle hard shells are made each day in a fryer. The barbacoa is handmade. chipotle has no freezers, everything is THAT fresh. I used to work there. While I have qualms with Chipotle’s consistency from visit to visit, they are super fresh!
It’s not necessarily THAT fresh, but it is fresher compared to other fast foods. You’re correct there are no freezers, only walk-ins, reach-ins, and hot boxes. However, there are items that are received in store frozen and simply defrosted inside the walk-in, such as the tortilla chips & corn. The meats, beans, and sauces come in in cooked pre-packed bags, only the chicken and steak comes in raw and cooked on the premise. Of course guacamole is always made fresh daily. I started working there late summer, and have a background in culinary, so though not a manager, I read labels and notice details related to food stuff 😂 the biggest qualm I have with Chipotle is the frozen corn. I love corn, it’s fine, but it could be better. Same with tomatoes but I understand it’s time constraint & simply and annoying vegetable to deal with.
Can y’all do a “who has the best bread” episode and try all different rolls, breadsticks, buns, whatever. I’m thinking Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, even Raising Canes bread, and if you do this can you PLEASE try breadsticks from Pat & Oscars. I’m from SoCal, Temecula actually, and that’s the best bread ive ever had and I find joy in y’all trying places and restaurants that are only in Cali. It takes me home. I love the show and try guys. As a Mexican, I have an appreciation for gringo tacos. Lol. Actually what comes close are tacos de papa. So it’s mashed seasoned potatoes in a tortilla that then it’s deep fried. You top it with a salsa, tomato, onion, lettuce, cotiija cheese and sour cream.

That's similar to the crunchy taco at El Pollo Loco. It's a tortilla (I don't remember if it's flour or corn)with meat, deep fried then lettuce n cheese. It's been some years since I worked there. My favorite.

Eugene is exploring all that life has to offer outside of the Try Guys, is only natural. Ned has now two kids. We know how devoted he is to Ariel and the kids. Zack has his physical limitations and might be handling some things rn. Most of his videos are about pain management. We should have gotten the hint that he isn't doing so well. The Try Wives are doing their podcast and the guys their podcast. They can only do so much before neglecting their families, their health, and themselves. Keith has the least on his plate of all of them and I think he is been an amazing team player right now. 👏👏
