How Good are Sigma’s New Cine Lenses?

These look identical image quality wise to the standard Sigma lenses far as I can see. Any bump in image quality (coatings maybe?), or is the price difference solely the cinema housing?

How much of a step up is this in quality over the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 lens?

These cover a full frame sensor over just APS-C on the Sigma 18-35mm. They are a big step up as they will work with higher end, full frame cinema cameras.

Are they sharp enough for S35 8K sensors?

The CINE 18-35mmT2.0 and 50-100mmT2.0 Super35 lenses resolve 8K so these ones should, too.

Yes they are. These lenses will actually cover a Full Frame Sensor. These lenses should work very well with S35 8K sensors.
