- I head out into the woods with my dog Monty and my friend Jake to spend the night in the woods. There was 4 feet of snow accumulation in the area and was the deepest snow I have ever camped in. We cooked up some delicious food and of course, there were plenty of shenanigans.

I actually watch to see how Monty is cared for. Time frame and his actions like when he was hungry and chewing on a root then grass. 😉 However Monty is very happy and that's what matters. The video adventures is a great plus. 💗

I have never liked camping and wouldn't entertain the idea but there's something about watching Matt create these wonderful camping structures, in the middle of Narnia, that's so fascinating - with the addition of Monty of course.

ok first off I need to say I don't have a clue about outdoor winter camping like you do but I love watching them which brings me to this idea. It might be a crap idea but I'll share anyway. I was watching another person doing the sort of same set up you did with the tarp and the high banks of snow. What he did was put some logs across the side walls and then put his tarp over it. That way his tarp didn't sag. I love your videos. I love how you say you need to make sure Monty is comfortable first. You're a great dad

I'm watching this on a warm September evening around twilight. Funny how you forget what winter's like went its summer! I'm from central Alberta so I certainly know what snow is like. I just prefer to watch other people having fun in it. I think Monty's so cool, I may look for a rough-haired collie pup in the future. I'm not sure how the family will react though. We are Tornjac dogs from way back, other than a couple of wolf hybrids. They, to date, are the best dogs I've ever had on the farm, but Monty and his breed really intrigue me! Great channel! It's often how I relax in the evenings!

They say it's not what you're doing so much, it's who you are doing it with that makes something fun. Now if you already enjoy the activity and THEN you add into the mix a good friend, that makes for an outstanding time. I have only recently got to experience this for myself. Not just a friend, not just a partner, but so much more and all of a sudden life has brand new meaning. None of us gets out of this life alive, you need to make the most of every day, I guess that's why I love this channel so much. They seem to know how to make the most of every day. Awesome 👍

I'm gonna be honest here, i watched your videos after coming home from a camping trip that got way too cold, way too fast, and where i got sick to my stomach.
