- Custom cards is one of the newest features in Marvel Snap and it allows you to customize (kind of) the cards and variants you have. In this video I explain how it works!

At least you guys can now upgrade your gold splits to infinity and still have the gold border.
I can now upgrade my artgerm magik worry-free
Even for the cards I dont have gold or ink splits for, I like to match the border either with the background to push the border back and put emphasis on the character or I match it with either the name plate color or the colors on the character itself.

That is the best part for me having the 3d and animation effects while having a gray border or green border in case just amazing update for sure
Only thing I don’t like is u can’t change the effect on a gold w one u got when it was foil it locks u into only selecting the effect per specific split …
It will eventually work that way. I can't imagine any other reason they would have all the options listed, and not just which border you can use. Maybe it will be in the next patch?

Is this update not rolled out in the UK yet? I definitely don't see a pencil for editing any cards.

Yea but you can only add particle effects of ink cards to ink cards and rainbow to rainbow
The update I always wanted but thought would never happen.
This feature is pretty stupid, I thought it’d be individual for each card and each different variant. With this you can only have one custom card. I wanted to be able to just click on any variant and press a back button for the border lol.
Watched this cause I thought was stupid but all I needed was to update the game but it wasn’t available for me earlier when the patch dropped
Idk what i am missing i cannot find the option for this. I have so many splits but dont see the option. I tried to see if there was an update but i don’t see it
You can't even separate the crackles or other effects from the shitty rainbow backgrounds, nearly useless feature rn besides being able to get cards to infinity but keep matching border colors.
Wait 3 times?! I only spilt one of my cards once and unlocked the custom border? I don’t understand this. Or maybe I’m just stupid

How do you unlock the other effects?

@@Tobisland I’ve split Ant-Man twice…now there’s a third!? How many more until I unlock the full custom effects?

@@Tobisland it added one glimmer (blue) on prism for that third split 😭This is going to be some tedious shit and the effect doesn’t carry over to other cards. Probably unlocks all with some purchase.
Thank jebus they focused on this rather than the bugs. This is such an integral part to the entertainment of the game
Would love them to do comic specific universe versions of heroes. For example have both 616 and ultimate versions of Nick Fury! Or like have Ghost Rider Punisher from one universe or Universe Ghost Rider. Would love to see Universe Peter Parker or variants of him like Superior Spider-Man or Superior IronMan. Or like Captain America Wilson or different mantels of Monica Rambau like Captain Marvel, or Prism. Or like have the universe where the most realistic versions of the heroes like Hulk is just one gruesome toxic person. Oooo ZOMBIE VERSIONS OF THEM. THEY SHOULD DO ZOMBIE MARVELS FOR HOLLOWEEN THIS YEAR! Then have the Phoenix versions! Have the Phoenix 5 X-Men of Cyclops, Emma Frost, Colossus, Namor, and Elliana. Or have the days of future past versions of wolverine and Storm. Have Xavier's new look. Maybe add a mechanic to the game where you can upgrade characters to their more powerful forms. Like having kid, teen and adult versions of Franklin and Valeria Richards. Then have different versions of Doom like his Secret Wars 80s to his God Doom from 2015 secret wars. Would love to see Spiderman from his wrestling, original goggles to his counter parts like 90s Spider-Man, to his live action suits.
Then have like the 4 different Sinisters.
Imagine the 97 X-Men looks! Oh that would be dope!
Then have wolverine's Logan look with his mask on!
They can really do a lot. Like Lang Variant forms from Iron Lad, to his Pharaoh version, and the look from Loki TV show.
Carol's Ms. Marvel to Captain Marvel look.
Would also love to see X-Men versions of their Omega levels like Gambit who can manipulate matter! Where he was so powerful in one universe where he can destroy anything.
They should also add Mad Jim Jaspers and many of the odd ball characters.
Would like to also see different versions of the Celestials. Also I don't think they have the Eternals yet in the game would love to see Ikarus, Cersei in the game.
Also would love to see the Cosmic beings like Eternity, Chaos and Order, Infinity or even better One Above All or One below All.
Oh and then Hulks different versions! Like Grey Hulk, Immortal Hulk, World Break Hulk and One Below Hulk.
Just like those All Father version.
Would also love the Run Aways! Or more of the none well known teams in Marvel like the different countries like Canada, Russia, China. Have like a whole team cards where if you summon certain characters you get a team card where each have unique abilities or combined abilities in one.
Marvel have s many characters that they can do so much more unique mechanics in the game!
Have like different versions of the Avengers.
In my opinion this is a big L. All of the cool splits I had are now common. If you had a gold foil with gold Kirby it was crazy but now anyone can do it…
What? If someone gets that the only difference is that they can upgrade that card now and keep the gold border, its still equally rare
You can't full customize the effects, you need to get it at least once for the specifical variant then it's choseable. God splits are still very rare
