    Great video! Do you have an idea about how I canplay a video automaticly when arriving at the level of a group and stopping it right away when going at the next group?

      Without looking into to it too closely - I'd start by playing around in the Workflow area. Go to Click here to add an event... > General > Do when condition is true and try something like a conditional of when the group isn't visible. The trigger a pause action on the video player, most video player plugins have a pause action that come with them, even the free ones. Good luck.

    This is awesome thank you! If I want to make a fitness app. For people to post their push ups only in a Monday social media feed. Is there a way to simplify it by using Reusable Elements for the 7 feeds (I have not been able to because each feed posts to itself and not to the others)? Thank you advance as I am stuck here and not sure how to get unblocked as there is not a lot of documentation out there on something custom like this ;)

      Hi Jenny, thanks for the kind words. I would use the same repeating group that displays all posts except change the data source to only include posts from that day of the week. So the "Monday" view of things that appears or the "Tuesday" view are the same view but the data source is filtered to only show posts from that day. Is that what you're wanting to achieve?
      Also, check out this guy's Day of Week plugin bubble.io/contributor/eli-1468510956324x883607267867773800 as that might be helpful for getting dates straight, also check the Bubble Forum for date filtering help, as I don't have a tutorial on that topic yet, but a good idea though :).

      @@NoCodeAcademy that's a great idea for the data structure! For the "Monday" view of things, what is the data source? Do I create a "Monday" data source at the parent or child level? Example parent "Monday Posts"? Or parent Posts, child "Mondays"?
      As for the Day of the week plugins, I searched but I can't find documentation. I tried but would appreciate advice on extracting the Day, and then using it to put posts in "Monday", and change Color.
      Thanks again for any clarification, and of course a video would be wonderful!

      @@Callmejz.ai0101 are you wanting every post that ever was posted on a Monday or only the most recent Monday's post for the current week?

    • @Callmejz.ai0101
      @Callmejz.ai0101 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NoCodeAcademy thanks for asking! I’d like to know how to do both. But what’s the pro and con of choosing the first option “every post that was ever posted on Monday”? Data load time etc?

      @NoCodeAcademy  ปีที่แล้ว

       @jz jennyzhang well, it depends on what you want for your users. Maybe you want a user to see on their posts for the past 6-8 Monday's to show their progress or something, but I can definitely see the use case of only the current week's Monday.
      I know that a likely answer lies in this plugin bubble.io/plugin/1t---day-of-week-1586702961647x650466979361587200 and using it so that when a post is created, the current date gets compared with whatever it uses to determine if it's a M, T, W, T, F, S, S and then storing that value as a field attached to the post (which might look like a 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc depending on the format the plugin returns a day value as).
      Then finally, when you want to filter all posts by only those with a value for M, or 0, you "Do a search for" all posts where the the value of that field is only a specific day. I'll see if I have time this weekend to take a look but hope that's something to go off of for now.

    Hello I want to add to the header group the parent-group-post but i cant find it. How can i fix this?

    • @NoCodeAcademy
      @NoCodeAcademy  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi thanks for the comment. As you say "but i cant find it", did you add the data of the post to the group that is the parent of the header group? That'd be worth double checking first. It's also worth while to rewatch 8:22 onwards and pay close attention to the blue dynamic expressions inside of the Data Source for each element as the UI is built. Hope that helps.

    What if we want different sizes for posts?

    • @NoCodeAcademy
      @NoCodeAcademy  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You mean a 4:5 aspect ratio vs 1:1? You could either put some cropping tool (search the Bubble plugins store) to get it cropped during upload, or limit the dimensions for the image displayed inside of the image element.

    Hey - I followed step for step along side and for some reason my result is just slightly different.
    Every time my page is loaded, the only data visible in the repeating group are the post info for the active user. What's confusing me is that the function 'Current cell's Post's image' returns the images for all the posts, but the function 'Current cell's Post's Creator's Name / Image' only return the info of the active user.
    Can someone help me with this?

      Hi Tommy, my first guess would be to double check the data setup. If you'd like additional help, there are one-time introductory sessions offered in the link in the description.

      Hi , can you tell me how did you resolve this?

    • @BerlinMan13
      @BerlinMan13 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey - within the Data tab, in Privacy section, remove the default settings that are applied. This will solve the issue. The default privacy settings making it so that only the user who is posting can see their posts. Removing the settings will allow all posts to be visible to everyone. @@sanjaye9389
