Storm has always been one of my favorite X-Men and one of the most important ones for the hope of Mutant kind. It makes sense to me that with her mastery of weather on any planet, the next level would be to manipulate some force in space. I'd say opening a black hole is pretty badass.
'Anyone remember when it showed the future, and Storm had "gone elemental?" 'How about way before that when she was the first prototype for Dark Phoenix as "Rogue Storm?" Yeah, not surprised.
@@sonicshadow77 I can't remember which X-Men annual it was, but it was the X-Men in the future. Professor X was a brain in a jar. Storm was mostly water with wind and lightning in and around her; that was elemental Storm. Then in an early Uncanny X-Men Storm was having dinner with Doctor Doom, and being charming and flirting. At some point he traps her and her claustraphobia kicks in and she transforms into this raging stormy version of herself with lighting coming out of her eyes and it describes her as "having as song deep inside her struggle to break free" or something like that. 'Sound familiar?
Much like I hope for Jean/Phoenix, I hope the MCU does a better job developing her. At her highest level she should easily be able to reshape the physical structure and environment of any planet. She can also survive in any environment. She is so in tune she can detect trees dying. Those could already put her beyond omega level. Then she has high magic potentials in her heritage. Imagine what she comics flirt at this, but never really go there. Imagine he developing powers similar to Dr. Strange or Scarlet Witch. I also hope the MCU develops her sister type relationship with Jean.

@@ampocalypsew3883 yes I realise I'm also just saying she is already a match against scarlett witch and Dr strange as it is, she would likely become the strongest sorceress or sorcerer of all time 😎
Bruh, Storm was always Omega level before this story. All it takes is how imaginative the writer is. Her base powers are ingredients for her to be Omega level.
People say she's not omega because Charles controls her and it's it's easy for people to miss all of her ability's and the vastness of them, she is a planetary threat with ease and with training she should be quite capable of tapping into universal powers back holes etc
It makes sense when we remember that storms power to control the weather is not only limited to earths weather, but literally to the direct environment she’s in. Even in other dimensions, her powers have grown to expand to new elements and new areas of influence. And it’s also important to remember that with storm ever since her powers emerge, she’s never been small time, her powers have always allowed her to manipulate a multitude of different energies and matter all at once over a very large distance of space. Meaning that overtime as her powers grow so does her area of influence. That’s why I theorize that storms power at its fullest potential is the ability to manipulate the four fundamental forces of the universe. the forces behind the very weather of the cosmos. And then mixed with her mystic heritage, and even being descended from the first human sorcerer supreme. It makes sense why her powers working in tandem, boost her to the levels of being damn near a God. That’s how she’s a match for characters like Vulcan. Because it was even stated early on by Chris Claremont that her powers work by manipulating the energies behind the weather and nature itself. Makes the “absorbing the power of a galactic core” feat all the more understandable.
If we think about it. Her power basically allow her to connect to the environment she’s around and the energy working in tandem through it. And if you remember that with her claustrophobia from her traumatic event that killed her parents. She became scared of the inclosed spaces and basically things that don’t allow freedom. Her power may actually be nature manipulation. She may be subconsciously limiting herself to elements in more transient states, such as energy, moisture, air, precipitation, and elements in more fluid states. It maybe why she doesn’t manipulate ice much but yet can manipulate mist, moisture, and water to a less often extent. If she can manipulate one it makes sense she could manipulate all states. But it may be a mental thing. Might be why she doesn’t manipulate earth. Just a theory.
she merged her power with her magic. this version of storm was probably training in magic for the last 90 years. she also did some epic s**t in the comic released today.
@@monteroprince7672 SPOILER: storm called for the electrons in emma frost's body the way she calls for lightning, and the electrons ripped themselves away from the covalent bonds within emma frost's diamond body, causing emma frost to be disintegrated on a molecular level.

@@itsanothereview not really weather but environment. They actually say she can control her environment on and giving planet or universe. So she pretty much has control over all natural environment
Not to mention she actual manipulates weather on a molecular level. In time she may be even to create phenomena within her body or became a literal walking disaster. You would think that Iceman wouldn't age either, seeing how he can turn to mist then back to ice. as long as there's any kind of moister, he will live.
I see it as Storm believing they need to live with their mistakes and not run away from this universe. They should just continue on, fight back, and take back the universe. For example there are so many people born out of the circumstances of WW2, that if you went back in time and stopped the war and the holocaust from ever happening. Most of us would have never been born, neither would our parents. Though in Sins of Sinister, the trajectory of the ENTIRE UNIVERSE has changed.
disagree. Storm did not manipulate matter, she altered time/gravity. This is op for sure, but manipulating elements that moves or dislocates matter is not different than her normal power set, just scaled up.

@@Detrifus One thing I love about Destiny is she has never lied about any of her visions. She may phrase it in a way that leads to others playing into her hands, but it's always the truth.
Storm has always had the ability to manipulate molecules. She used to manipulate the molecules in her clothing to change back and forth into her suit. It's listed as one of her powers. As far as wormholes and black holes are concerned, Magneto opens these in his sleep. Big or small he's always done this... Without amp.
Her weather manipulation reached such a point she opened a black hole. That’s impressive. There’s alot of things that magneto or iceman can do that she can also do, but they can’t do all the things she does.
@@kisubags437 Actually Magneto can do everything Storm can do and so much more. Magneto has complete control over the electromagnetic spectrum. His power really isn't just magnetism. Iceman is beyond Storm now to the point he's comparable to the Molecule man... to a degree. This ain't to say that Storm isn't a powerhouse because she most definitely is but Marvel left her lacking for years and stagnant to the point that she was introduced to us in. Her showings were actually more impressive in the early days. But yeah Storm can't fk Magneto in any category. She raw though.
@sovereign Bruh, Thanks to his mutation, Magneto deep understanding of electromagnetic and fundamental forces has allowed him to create stable, traversable wormholes. Meaning he can use them for simple teleportation. Idk how your knowledge goes but to use a wormhole for casual travel is a flex on top of a flex lol Magneto creates these with zero amp. Speaking of "amps" Storm had to get juiced up from another mutant and the use of magic to get the job done and then she keeled over and died. Magneto busts these open to make beer runs. They're not the same 🤣🤣🤣🤦♂️ Excalibur and House of M if I'm not mistaken is when he pulled off the wormhole feats. Controlled mind you lol
@@kentaurus9610 Technically this is her living up to the Omega classification because Hickman defined it as having no limits, and it's kinda impossible to go beyond limitless.
@sovereign ... What? There's no such thing as "bigger infinities," and there's no limit to anything described as limitless. "Beyond Omega Level" is a phrase that predates Hickman's definition, it's not actually a thing in-universe. She doesn't say anything about going beyond in this comic, and Knull saying she's extremely powerful is just hm recognizing her status as an Omega. It's impossible to be beyond Omega level because the potential of Omega level is infinite. And again, infinity isn't a number, it's a concept, so there's no such thing as "bigger infinities."
Creating a wormhole isn't reality warping. It's basically extending her ability to control cosmic weather, which is simply the electromagnetic spectrum, to now include manipulation of gravity in order to fold spacetime. Since science still has no idea what causes gravity, which is why its excluded from the standard model despite being a fundamental force, all Marvel is doing is playing it fast and loose by saying gravity is a form of energy.
Firstly loved this comic one of Storms biggest highlight will go down in history. But she was NOT senile. It's in Storms character to respect life that's nothing new. She wouldn't even die just to be brought back when she had a bomb in her brain. Also she didn't die because it was too much she used her life essence as an ingredient to the spell she says it while doing the spell lol.
It's very much not complex: Resetting the timeline is akin to committing genocide on anyone and everyone who wasn't born yet. If there is hope, there's no reason for Storm to commit a genocide that can be averted
11:27 "...she's also going senile..." I paused the video right before this comment to read the conversation bubbles on the screen. The words she uses do not imply insanity to me, but rather they seem to be eerily similar to something Professor X would say. Xavier is highly likely dead at this point, and Storm is the new Professor-type.
Lol and people still think Storm defeating Wonder Woman in the crossover comics is laughable for real Storm would body wonder woman in any official DC Vs Marvel crossover.
Since she is from an African magical shaman bloodline and a weather witch she is so more powerful than we even have had mentioned. Here’s 3 other over looked abilities; control over air which means breath so essential she can suffocate or even cause people to live under water or outer space. 2) blood/hemoglobin contains water this she could essentially control the water and blood in all living things even chlorophyll contains water for green planets as well. 3) lightning n electrical charges which could be used to disrupts polarization of planets
It isn't senility so much as overly optimistic pragmatism. If Moira clone dies, even if it isn't Moira herself, she will remember everything that has happened through the genetic memory, allowing her to further her own devious plans in less overt ways. It is a devil you know versus the devil you don't situation. If Storm could somehow send her own memories back, it would be a different story. And we all know that the Sinisters have a way to do it, so it really would just be a futile attempt at a new existence. As Apocalypse always says, only the strongest can truly rule.
That depends on if a clone of Moira counts as Moira. Is Moira going to have a memory of being in 30 places at once because there is several clones of her there? Considering Sinister has killed several Moiras to reset the timeline already Moira would already be aware of this going on unless that isn't the case.
@@Pirokh True, but I think it could also be something he does before he kills them? We don't get much info on that, but I think it is because Moira is just a giant McGuffin that getting into the weeds would detract from the story. So maybe she remembers what she remembers, based on the writer at the time.
@Takeru Neverborn I just wish marvel would quit messing up TChalla and storms relationship. Everybody I see is having kids and besides storm and tchalla. I honestly believe marvel isn't ready for them to have kids yet due to how powerful the kid would possibly be. TChalla being emperor of 5 galaxies known as the Intergalactic wakanda empire. Storm being the voice of Sol for omega level mutants, and being a royal bloodline of sorcerer superemes. There Kid/Kids would be too powerful in terms of technology and powers.
What storm is trying to say is since things are already bad they can get better. When things start off perfect there’s nothing but bad for the future. So let’s just make this reality better.
I love storm, she the queen we deserve....but when she started talking that mess about "The people in this timeline have hope" I immediately went "WHAT THE F%@$ ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? SAVE THEM!"
So let me get this straight, 1. Sins of Sinister is just a side arc from the main x-men Krakoa front 2. The progenitors are separate from the celestials 3. Storm is now a cosmic/universal threat Let me know if I missed something.
Storm had her powers boosted to be a universal threat for one moment but the strain would kill her or if she was younger leave her in a very weaken state afterwards. Its pretty much like doping.

Storm has always been one of my favorite X-Men and one of the most important ones for the hope of Mutant kind. It makes sense to me that with her mastery of weather on any planet, the next level would be to manipulate some force in space. I'd say opening a black hole is pretty badass.
Yes opening a black hole would be a badass feat lmao 🤣
Storm has been and always will be HER!
Storm. She was my favorite playable character from the X-Men 6 player arcade game. Be at Peace Storm Empress.😢
@@nickyoung3019 I’ve been watching the original animated X men series. There are so many storylines where the Fox movies could have used to fully develop her powers. It’s a big miss. The same with Jean.

I love Thor but storms powers are iconic and superior
She can fly at will and control elements effortlessly and much more efficiently than Thor
she wields this cosmic weather powers unlike no other

Just imagine storm being the first mutant to not only be a god but, a sorceress Supreme. And she is royal by bloodline thanks to her ancestry.
I know it’s probably not what you meant but Magik was sorceress supreme once, of limbo tho I guess. But yeah Storm is amazing and probably the mutant I want to see done properly in live-action the most (maybe next to Jean but I don’t think we’ll see Jean after the 2 failed attempts)
@@NoxComet oh no I meant storm to be SS for the mutants, granted yes Magik was for limbo but......she nor anybody wants to be there.

Beyond Omega Level*
I agree. What this comic book showed is though is that she’s beyond omega level ⚡️
@@monteroprince7672 funny though, in most of her video game appearances (especially Capcom the fighting games) she has ice attacks.
Ya, maybe with another mutant buffing her powers in a "what if" story...
she merged her power with her magic. this version of storm was probably training in magic for the last 90 years. she also did some epic s**t in the comic released today.
@@monteroprince7672 SPOILER:
storm called for the electrons in emma frost's body the way she calls for lightning, and the electrons ripped themselves away from the covalent bonds within emma frost's diamond body, causing emma frost to be disintegrated on a molecular level.

Storm has really always been beyond omega level. Complete control over weather is absolutely nuts considering the possibilities. Any hero with control over an element is instantly beyond omega level to me.
Weather is like lower tier but I understand what you mean
@@itsanothereview not really weather but environment. They actually say she can control her environment on and giving planet or universe. So she pretty much has control over all natural environment
@@itsanothereview you realize weather can affect solar systems? She is literally conduit of the universe, if not an avatar of nature itself.
Not to mention she actual manipulates weather on a molecular level. In time she may be even to create phenomena within her body or became a literal walking disaster. Plus if she trains her powers long enough she will be able to replicate this feat and make reality bending storms. They just need a good writer to cook it in the oven
@@itsanothereview that’s what I think too. If anything Vulcan would be beyond in my opinion or the reality warpers
RIP Storm a most beloved and respected member of the X-Men
This was amazing bro….Queen Storm
This also recontextualizes what counts as weather in marvel. This is a nice buff to storm
disagree. Storm did not manipulate matter, she altered time/gravity. This is op for sure, but manipulating elements that moves or dislocates matter is not different than her normal power set, just scaled up.
This comic was such a defining story, her incredible morality, and more importantly, her power level. Overall I think SoS event could make great movie(s).

I have to imagine that Destiny is playing at a macro level. She must have known the best option was to let Storm kill her. Only way Storm will enact her actual plan, which would probably lead Orbis or the Progenitors to pivot their plans. People with high ambitions don't just give up even while facing imminent death.
I’m half-convinced that Irene lies her ass off about most of her visions to influence or ensure the outcome she wants.
@@Detrifus One thing I love about Destiny is she has never lied about any of her visions. She may phrase it in a way that leads to others playing into her hands, but it's always the truth.

That’s my girl ❤
Also I love Rob’s comic reviews man
Storm has always had the ability to manipulate molecules. She used to manipulate the molecules in her clothing to change back and forth into her suit. It's listed as one of her powers. As far as wormholes and black holes are concerned, Magneto opens these in his sleep. Big or small he's always done this... Without amp.
Can you please mention the issue in which magneto opens a black hole in his sleep
@@joshuahendricks9558 I sure will buddy. Hold that pose un momento...
One thing's for sure is that every time you mess with the timeline, something much worse happens. I understand Storm.
Always considered her to be an omega lvl. ❤
She actually is classified as an Omega level mutant in the comic books, this is her going beyond that!
She's a GoAT. Always was my favorite in the og cartoon.
Creating a wormhole isn't reality warping. It's basically extending her ability to control cosmic weather, which is simply the electromagnetic spectrum, to now include manipulation of gravity in order to fold spacetime. Since science still has no idea what causes gravity, which is why its excluded from the standard model despite being a fundamental force, all Marvel is doing is playing it fast and loose by saying gravity is a form of energy.
thought gravity was mass distorting/bending spacetime?
How is she only just now at this level when she's been able to control nature forever?
Cuz before she couldn't open a black hole

Firstly loved this comic one of Storms biggest highlight will go down in history.
But she was NOT senile. It's in Storms character to respect life that's nothing new. She wouldn't even die just to be brought back when she had a bomb in her brain.
Also she didn't die because it was too much she used her life essence as an ingredient to the spell she says it while doing the spell lol.
This whole thing is just about giving Sinister his actual super power.... Having plans on plans on plans and living in his own little world 😂🤣😭
I want storm to read and learn all of the Book of Vishanti . To fully unlock her full native magic
Not to mention she can cause a Storm Outta Space 🌌
It's very much not complex:
Resetting the timeline is akin to committing genocide on anyone and everyone who wasn't born yet. If there is hope, there's no reason for Storm to commit a genocide that can be averted
Storm has been manipulating molecules since her second mission aa a X-Man (see Unamny X-Men 101).
Storm going beyond Omega Level.. Queue Scene in Dragon Ball Z when Goku confronts Majin Buu for the first time and goes Super Saiyan 3.. :D
Storm is God Tier in my book
11:27 "...she's also going senile..." I paused the video right before this comment to read the conversation bubbles on the screen. The words she uses do not imply insanity to me, but rather they seem to be eerily similar to something Professor X would say. Xavier is highly likely dead at this point, and Storm is the new Professor-type.
Lol and people still think Storm defeating Wonder Woman in the crossover comics is laughable for real Storm would body wonder woman in any official DC Vs Marvel crossover.

awesome work Brodsky

2. The progenitors are separate from the celestials
3. Storm is now a cosmic/universal threat
Let me know if I missed something.
