As a narrow fit woman i find these the most attractive sneakers out there. I hate thick chunky soles and love a more streamlined look. Added a pair to basket. 👍🥰
You’re very lucky! I’m quite jealous if I’m being honest! I wish I could make these work, but my wide Bigfoot size just doesn’t allow it! 🫠 I have to go with the chunkier sneakers and thicker soles for comfort reasons, momma raised a big HEAVY bear! 😂 Enjoy your Puma Speedcat OG’s to the fullest! 😋🫶🏼 - 🐻
@@BEARHQ I'm size 13 UK and size 14 US, and had these in the past. But I can remember of them being very low to the ground as the soles were not thick. Are they by chance a bit thicker now? I really want to try them on, but I can almost tell this won't be the shoe for me....
Had the boxer/racer version back in high school (2006). Wore it for a whole year before it went out of fashion. Mines had this flap (seen on football shoes) as well as a velcro strap. There were also the knee high ones. A bummer for me is that these weren’t as narrow originally. At least not the pair I grew up with having. And I have small, but wide feet. I wore mines with camo cargo pants and a studded belt. At least that was the overall look. Some wore trucker caps (Von Dutch).
the puma super Liga would be closer to the samba. a side from the toe box having a similar shape at best, the shoes share very little to nothing in common .
Trends are so interesting with what comes and goes! The times move so fast and so sporadically, it’s near impossible to tell what will become the next “fad” with sneakers! Even if years before, the shoe was hardly ever mentioned in anyone’s breath, anything can have a surprising revival out of nowhere, for no apparent reason! 😂 - 🐻
I used to where these when they came out up untill they were discontinued, not a very trendy shoe at the time, loved driving in them, but now my car usually only have 2 pedals so not as important and I wear chucks every day so I dont know what comfort is, novelty and original at the same time.
From what I can tell, the Sparco versions differ with the blue/white Sparco logo on the tongue, and no embroidered Puma logo on the toe box! The width does look different in photos between both, but I would guess they’re more or less the same in-hand! - 🐻
hey bro , since this is sold out online for mens. I found an online store but it says for women’s so i was just wondering if I can get it and just do upsize but I’m also worried about the shape if there’s a difference between for men or women’s. Thanks
Hmm, that’s a tricky one! As usually woman’s sneakers are built slightly slimmer and more narrow for the shape of the sole/footbed. And when it comes to sizing up, that is usually pertaining to the length increase from heel-to-toe, with a tiny fractional increase in width. If it were myself, I would wait until my men’s size pops up again in the future! I’m sure Puma will be making many more of these, and in a lot more colours too, so I would play on the safe side, hold your dollars, and wait till your usual men’s size is available to purchase! - 🐻
They’re available in most retail sneaker stores, as well as online with Puma’s official website and others such as END, SNS, and KITH to name a few examples! - 🐻
These speedcats are populair with people that do kung-fu and tai-chi. It is not made to walk miles on end every day. They now mostly sell the sparco (bmw/mercedes-amg/ferrari/porsche)) version of the speedcat. Lucky i still found myself some OG speedcats with puma logo and embroidered cats on the toe end of the shoe.. The OG's just look way better. If i need more comfortable i probably go for an easy rider sneaker or something. I wish the speedcats come back with a peacoat color to match my shirts.
Surprisingly, not the worst “pinky toe destroyer” sneaker I’ve come up against! The quality of the leather definitely helps lessen the pain for us wide footers, but as far as narrow footwear goes, these are definitely a slim choice! - 🐻
I am also part of the wide foot club, and wear a US 12 Men’s size in Jordan 1 Lows… and what I must say about these Puma Speedcat OGs, is that they are not going to be accommodating nor friendly for our wide feet. You can chance it if you want, but its one of those sneakers that we just have to admire from afar sadly. - 🐻
Puma is completely out of my sneaker menu imo. I’ve given them several chances and it just never lasts. Their basketball shoes killed my toes, their collabs all look the same and their releases bear no nostalgia for me.
I’m trying to add Puma to the mix of my daily rotation as well, but it is quite the struggle to find a Puma sneaker that checks both the comfort and aesthetic box for my likings! So I completely get where you’re coming from! - 🐻
The official Puma website has some sizes still in-stock, they must be periodically restocking them from time-to-time,so keep an eye out on there for sure! Also, you may have some luck for your size on END, SNS, Footpatrol, Footdistrict, Offspring, Slam Jam, and Ssense, to name a few retailers! All the best! 👋🏼 - 🐻
Mmm, I’m in the same boat! I’ve read the Palermo is a fair choice for wide foot suitability too! I may have to expand my Puma palette and try a few more pairs until I find the “perfect fit”! - 🐻

@BEARHQ I think they may be easier for women as we tend to walk on thin soles everyday ?. I trip up on thick soles 🤣🤣

I have extremely narrow feet so these shoes are amazing fit for me
That’s all we could ever ask for, is a shoe to fit perfectly with no pain or discomfort whatsoever 😂 Happy to see these fit that bill for you! - 🐻
Sure will, thank you for your response!
You’re more than welcome Jenn! Cheers for stopping on by! - 🐻

The puma’s “samba”
To a T! 🫡 - 🐻

I had the black speedcat before that I beat the hell up. Who would've thought they would be in the hype right now lmao

What's the difference between these and the sparco ones?

Hi. From which country was it made?
Meannnnnn 🔥
Mmmm! 👊🏼 - 🐻
Where do I find this?
They’re available in most retail sneaker stores, as well as online with Puma’s official website and others such as END, SNS, and KITH to name a few examples! - 🐻
Hi, thank you! just look, they’re all sold out 😢
Ahh! I’m sure Puma will be making more pairs! Keep an eye out for a restock, and who knows, maybe new colourways are on the horizon! 🙌🏼 - 🐻

Dang i got the fake one😢
I guess Im gonna cut off my pinky

I wanted to buy this buy really scared of the fit. I am a wide footer that wears a size 12 on Jordan 1 lows.

@@BEARHQ okay thank you for the response. This saved me some bucks for a shoe I would regret buying.
Can you put an insole in it

Say whaaaaaa… what are you doing to your poor Pumas 🥺🥺🥺

It's 2006 again
Puma Speedcats and Nokia mobile phones - 🐻
Where Can I get some they all sold out 😔

CNCPTS
October 12, 2024 Puma is releasing two new colors. Go to their website and you’ll see them.
its a pass for me. if im getting nostalgic with puma its going to be some Clydes or Suedes. Theyre a bit too narrow for my wide feets.
