My two boys and I were only able to watch this launch on live TV last year and watching it again a year later, seeing it from a spectators point of view ON THE GROUND AT THE SITE....still brings tears to my eyes! What a momentous event to witness in our history! Thanks Tim (and Jenn for the editing) for documenting and sharing with us all!

@@quincym-e4680 incredibly fake looking. I think the public spends so much time on movies and video games that they don't have a sense of reality anymore of how things behave in the real world. How they can believe that a rocket can land like that, blows my mind. It would flip right away. Unreal. So much of society is brain dead.

I watched the launch from the top of a building in Daytona Beach, it was absolutely incredible and brought me back to the space shuttle days too! This was so emotional for me to watch. Growing up in Florida, I remember those shuttle launches and can recall the sonic booms and the air whapping. I haven't heard that in a long time. I saw sts 123 in 2008. It was a night launch. It was the coolest thing I ever saw. Took about 4 hours to get back to Orlando the traffic was insane but it was so worth it. If anyone is on vacation in Florida and has a chance to see a launch I would highly recommend it. The sound, the heat and the rumble of the ground is unbelievable! Nice Vlog Tim! Love the space stuff!!!!

I love you guys for posting this and caring about it!! We have been waiting forever for this launch and when they announced the date last week we arranged to take our kids out of school and drive down from Kentucky! We watched some of the setup while we were are KSC on Monday but we watched the launch from Cocoa Beach. I’m so happy to see your view and all the activity at that site :) We hated not being able to see the pad but we felt like we had a front row seat to that awesome double touchdown of the boosters. Just amazing. I was so overwhelmed. We’ve been traveling home all day but just stopped for the night and the first thing I did was check to see if you posted about it. Yay!! Please please please keep making content like this for us space nerds!! Keep all of us up north up to date on what’s happening out there, especially with SLS coming up. I found you guys because of my love for Disney and I love all that content but this is even better!! Thank you again for posting!!
