Terrific camera placement while working on the spillway (placing neighbor’s concrete). Perfect speed because it was moving with the bucket but not so close that everything flew by. Your videos keep getting better.

I never knew as to how much trouble and maintenance you need to do just to keep a pond. You are always repairing peoples and its amazing as to what water can do over time.

We had big mats like those at work but a section of wood removed with a huge bolt through so a way to hook a hook for chains to pick them up with our yard cranes. Back when they would load mining trucks on barges. Plus a way to use them to help store mining trucks on the ground less tire assemblies

Nice Job Chris and Tim. Always good to see work being done right like if your doing it for yourself otherwise Why do it! Didn't understand why you didn't move the logs and stump out and let it rot on top of dry land but, I guess that's what the owner wanted. If your ever interested in coming down to Miami and seeing what it's like in digging and working with the toughest ground possible (Key Stone, Coral Rock, Moral). Here in Scotland these sort of culverts and spillways have been hugely damaging to migratory fish populations and we spend an extraordinary amount of time and money resolving these issues. I suppose it all depends on the species and the impact this work has on wildlife and the environment. I watch all these videos as I was a contractor before I became involved in fishery management and am interested to see Chris at work but we certainly wouldn't get away with things like that here now.
