Sadly I agree with other commentors. Your starting with a sales order? How does that make any sense? What about stocktaking your current inventory, considering most businesses will be starting with a load of stock on hand?
This tutorial made no sense. Please make an inventory tutorial, where you start with the product, and show how to add it to inventory, track it, and track where it was stored. You have a great video showing a guy at his warehouse, and it follows a logical journey... mirror the format of that video in EXPLAINING how to setup odoo to doo what is shown... PLEASE (no emotion in comments, i'm pleading with you)
I am an electrician, I know whats on my truck because I'm in it all day. What I need to know is the inventory at the shop. I can remember what we have on the shelf so I want to be able to track inventory from the shop. I'm not worried about what it cost, who I am purchasing from or who I am selling too. Just need to track qtys.
Good morning. Thanks for your videos, they are great! Consultation: The standard behavior of Odoo is that when placing a sales order, the product is immediately available for pickup by the customer in the inventory module. What if the client has not paid and will never pay...? How can I solve this situation? Thank you so much
Great tutotrial video. Did not see the possibility of creating a Purchase Order directly from a Back Order Delivery window, or from a Delivery with only partial qty available to deliver.
Odoo can be a nightmare for Inventory operations with the decision to allow stock go into negative by default. Absolute Disaster. We don't have any option on Odoo Online. Seems like a simple, reasonable thing to fix.😥

Sales are based on production so On Hand is 0 and upon confirmation of quotation then products could be purchased . Means zero stock .
Beautiful work!
How can I manage materials from different customers?
Is this Odoo Official Channel
Wrong title for this.
