This snare tone is amazing. One of the best drumming channels on the entire website.

Nice video. Your kit sounds nice.
I use behringer c-1 mics on overheads and as a room mic. Im extremely pleased with the sound quality. They are very clean and crisp. The sound of the cymbals becomes airy, and bright. I usually have to filter out some of the highs... but overall a very nice mic.
However, the longer the mic cable, the noisier these mics become. Also, they are extremely sensitive, and will pick up a bumblebee sneeze. So you'll have to turn off the air conditioning, and the kids probably need to go see granny that day... because simply walking the floor will be heard in the recording.
I use an sm57 on hats, i5 snare, peavey pvm series on toms, beta 52 on kick.
Drums are Monkey Custom 7.5x14 snare.
SPL 7x8, 8x10, 10x12,14x14, 18x22. (The ones with black hardware and floating rim mounts)
    My cymbals are:
ZILDJIAN A CUSTOM cymbals in: 13 hats, 14 hats, 16 crash, 20 ride.
    SABIAN B8 14 hats.
    STAGG DH 14, 15, 16, 17 crashes. 20 flat ride
    ZILDJIAN AVEDIS 10, 12, splashes. 14, 15, 16 crashes. 20 earth ride.
    AGAZARIAN 14 hats, 16 crash.
    WUHAN 16 China.
Room is well treated with several DIY 2'x4'x4" panels filled with rockwool, and covered in fabric.
    Interface is the behringer xr18
    DAW: Cakewalk
So as you can see, I'm recording with a budget, but it is recording VERY well, with minimal post processing. I do a lot of drum/harmonica recordings for 2 local studios and a few out of state via Dropbox. I haven't had a single problem exept learning these mics dont like longer cables.
For live gigs, stay away from these mics. They are way too sensitive for stage volumes. Feedback is a bit of a challenge. Better stick with a dynamic mic such as Sure sm57, Heil pr31bw, Heil Handi mic, Sennheiser e609.

Great sounds and very useful video! Do you have any recommendation how to setup the C2 pair for the kit? Simply over the kit in the center?

      Thank You!
I place one mic over the hat and the other over the floor toms.

@@nedzelski Thanks for the help! I am about to set these up with a kick microphone too. How high are you setting up the one over the floor toms? I see it is very close to the hats. Thanks!

@@dafi723 The overheads are about two meters above the ground, if I understood the question correctly.

Тут если честно гораздо приятнее игру оператора барабанной установки слушать, а потом уже догоняешь, ну да, и микрофоны неплохи)))

    How to set it up?

I hear stereo on both. You have a spaced pair also for B1 mics, right? So 2 C2 mics vs 2 B1 mics.

B1 picks up more mid and low for sure. Which is better for toms of course.

Yes, the same location on the same stands.

@@captain_nikolai otherwise you could say that the c-2 astonningly offers a plus of transparency in the upper regions... usually you would use an additional bassdrum mic that's adding some bottom over the whole drumset. for this price an absolute surprise!
