The Coahuiltecan Story

The Indigenous Institute of the Americas participated in a story and history sharing gathering at the home of Evelio Flores. Gregory Gomez, President of the IIA with Mr. Flores and Dr. Ruban Arellano shared their expertise regarding the complicated history of Native people in the State of Texas and the tribal families who were split up because of the political boundaries related to a river called the Rio Grande.
