Market Day In Towyn totally changes your experience of the town.
Also changes your shopping habits as you can buy almost anything on here.
Clothing,phone repairs,butchers , hardware, textiles.. you name it , it’s on here.
Everything you’d expect from such a large market and all by the seaside.
Whether you’re holidaying here or just on a day out it’s well worth a visit.
Also there is a Car Boot Sale incorporated at the market which is also very big.
After you have had a wander around the market you might fancy a walk around Towyn Fairground (Tir Prince) which is adjacent to the market and car park. The fairground has everything for all ages.It also has fast food stalls and toilets .
Towyn is located just a mile or so from Rhyl and is on the A548 coast road
and is served by the number 12 bus from Rhyl or Llandudno.
There are plenty of places to eat and drink in Towyn itself with it’s many bars and fast food shops.
Overall it’s a great day out .
I holidayed here as a child for many years so have many great memories and I don’t think it’s lost it’s appeal or atmosphere for all age groups.
It has something for everyone 😊.
There are many caravan parks and camp sites in the area .Parkdean Resorts Ty Mawr being one of the big attractions .
