While visiting the US in 1975, mum and i stayed at this Hotel. Back then it was called the Sheraton Anaheim Hotel. The top of the roof of the outside entrance was much lower back then with a large above it. "S' Inside the foyer there were statues of knights in armour, and other medieval objects and paintings. They were even outside the doors of the rooms. I can't believe how much it has changed.
Thank you for these hotel reviews. Please keep them coming. We really do appreciate you and your family input. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and family!
We stayed in 1996 and loved it.We liked the breakfast which was buffet style. We made sandwiches from the buffet which we wrapped in napkins to take to the parks so we didn't have to buy expensive food.On the evening the hotel put on free snacks during 'happy hour' so we saved more money by eating there for our evening meals otherwise we would use the on site deli where we shared the food as the portions were so large. We loved the shuttle to and from Disneyland,it also went to Fashion Island shopping mall in Newport beach so we did that one day. There was no arcade room when we went. Thankyou for your video. Best,Wishes Hazel
The lobby is so pretty. The Christmas decor is on point. I want to stay there one time. But yes, Candy Cane Inn is my favorite. The free shuttles for both are a huge plus.
This is our FAVORITE hotel! In the summer it's sooo amazing to be dropped off right to the door on a hot day. In my opinion, this hotel is a gem! The halls are a little creepy but I love the old style hotels from the 80s/90s. They also have a Princess Corinne who you can write letters to and she does a meet and greet
Yeah, the time I stayed at this hotel for the very first time was at the beginning of September (95 degrees) and I walked it (sweaty mess) because I always do a walking portion in my hotel reviews to see what it’s like. This hotel is DEFINITELY a “take the shuttle” but it’s pretty frequent so not much of an issue.
About the buses, i was so taken aback by the buses NOT being free when i went in august. I stepped on and they were like tickets pls and i was like huh? It was embarrassing
Which buses are you talking about? The ART buses? Those ones do cost. But what we took is a free hotel shuttle. The hotels we’ve stayed at with free hotel shuttles are the Anaheim Majestic (this one) and the Candy Cane. Though I’m sure others have them too.
@@SoCalDisneyDad I was at the Sheraton park hotel. A 20 min walk which was fine cus as a Brit, i walk everywhere loll. But tiring at the end of the day. Yes i think they were called art buses. Of course i was just used to wdw buses being free
@@hollybabyyy Yeah, ART is owned by the city, not Disney, so they charge. The only Disney owned buses are the ones that take you from Toy Story Lot to the park.
Thank you for this video Travor. Sorry if I mis spelled your name. This is exactly the type of video I was hoping for. How much did the shuttle cost or was it free? I would love to see a video of Hyatt Regency Orange County. I’ve heard they have a lot of free family friendly activities there.

This is crazy! I am going to this SAME Hotel to stay at for my Christmas Disneyland trip tomorrow till the 26th. ❤❤❤
Nice! Enjoy! It’s a gorgeous hotel.
How did you like the hotel? When I look on Google the reviews aren’t too great

Live 20 miles away, so I'm likely never staying in a hotel, but I do quite enjoy these tours.
This hotel looks really nice and we love the Christmas decorations! We will have to keep it in mind but we really enjoyed our stay at the Candy Cane!!
Great work ... thanks for all of the info. A group of seniors are coming, we need the closed hotel so we can nap!
This is our go to hotel! We like it.

Hi SoCalDisneyDad
Oh my family and I stay in there over night. To expensive. Although it’s nice. But still I love Candy cane.
I wish Candy Cane had kept their prices in the $200 range instead of $300+
Disney only authorized 3 hotels to park at 13. Majestic, Hyatt Regency, and Candy Cane.
Oh interesting. Didn’t know that. Thanks for the inside scoop.

You made this video on my birthday it’s say posted in December 22
Thanks for the review! Can you take a double stroller on the shuttle?
I believe they put those in a compartment under the bus. So it should fit. Cause it’s a large space. It just has to be folded.

The shuttle is free.
Looks EVC room friendly. Need more outlets.
Out of all hotels closest to Disneyland which one is your favorite? Other than Candy Cane?
This one probably for affordability and the shuttle.
@@SoCalDisneyDad I figured but I wanted to confirm first! Thanks for the review video!
Holy cow! You could fit three more people in that closet.
😂🤣
And I was at Disneyland hotel so I was close to you
