I needed this message. I am a stage 4 breast cancer survivor of 5 years. I have insecurity about having my breast removed. I also battle with my weight because i take medicine that makes me want to eat, when im trying to work on my health. Thank you Pastor Joel for this encouraging message. I recieve in Jesus's name
God won't give up on you. My mom has no breast for years and she is perfectly fine. Find ways to encourage yourself and keep on fighting.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’” (NIV). God’s dream for you is personal.
Only you can fulfill the purpose God has planned for you. His dream for you is positive. It will give you hope!
How do you get God’s dream for your life?
You’ve got to be willing to dedicate your life to God, committing in advance to do whatever he tells you to do.
“Offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service and pleasing to him ….
Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind.
Then you will be able to know the will of God, what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect” (Romans 12:1-2 GNT).

Your sermon really hit the spot! Specifically, the 40-year-old trying to prove himself to his father. I only wish I could’ve heard this sermon before I got married in 91. I know that’s an impossibility, but this specific sermon helps me immeasurably in the highly competitive nature of tv/movie auditions.

Heavenly Father, thank you for this season of gaining awareness of the lifelong difficulties, painful and unfair situations through which you have brought me. Send your Holy Spirit to heal me of the incorrect beliefs and behaviors I have developed as a result.
Help me lay all my pain and errors at your feet, keep me from harming others in the way I have been harmed, from complaining, and from spreading offense and roots of bitterness to others; please heal anyone whom I may have harmed in this or any other way.
Stop me from feeling sorry for myself and from trying to get others to feel pity for me.
Help me forgive myself with all my heart, as well as those who have harmed and offended me. Bless me with wisdom and discernment to guard my heart and my legitimate boundaries from those who do not know or do not want to respect them.
Allow me to clearly and promptly distinguish whom you have anointed to be close to me from those that I should keep at a distance.
Heal my blind spots, may I always understand the promptings of the Holy Spirit and follow the path you have laid out for me.
