Freestyle started for me way younger than I thought. As a young child I used to mock rap songs changing the lyrics in my head... Then fast forward to 14-16 years old I was sending "battle raps" through text to each other. In which I always shut them down and had the last message. (I was trash, but so were they. Lmao) then when I turned twenty I had a job at KFC. A kid named Dicken (last name only, not giving first) used to freestyle his ass off and always diss people in the kitchen, even right in front of them as a joke... Well I never really opened up and vocally freestyled at that point. He dissed me about being fat, was a few solid bars about man tits and such if I remember... But I knew this kid sold to everyone around us, and his uncle was a well known cop in my town, so I let my mind go out of the virtue I have always carried. "Never back down" so in my mind I had to respond or I'm a bitch more or less. So I slammed him about the facts, and started all of this with ... Dicken around, flippin his chicken around, catchin a dick in his mouth, the biggest bitch in the town... And he had nothing to say back, by the time I was 21 people asked me to rap for them and they were bumpin to it. Usually it was some horror themed shit, or funny shit, but they loved it... Began battling people on Xbox live, and trashed everyone so far. Now I'm 27 with two kids and a very busy life. Never made a record sale, never recorded anything that still exists. I just love rap music, and how expressing your subconscious through a freestyle is almost therapeutic to my mental health... However I do have a goal to make a mark in rap music by having one mixtape at least. Just to be a part of the whole genre. Any advice on how to record a quality album?

how to record a quality album, get an idea, write lyrics for 10 songs, download Reaper, get reaeq extension, get some synth VSTs, rent a microphone for your vocals, spend hundreds of hours learning how to rap, record, produce, work with professional producers, youtube tutorials, thats what I've been doing, 3 years in almost done the first album, can probably do 2 or 3 albums next year though if i keep grinding it gets faster and easier every day
I have been rapping for so long freestyling is an addiction and I rap while working in a kitchen all the time, I've written at least 15-20 songs but I want to drop them all some day
