Probably not even if you only paid half of minimum wage you would still end up spending more eventually. Robots may seem to be slow but since they don't get tired they can work almost continuously and the only cost is maintenance and electricity, that means a robot's upfront cost may be higher but after a few months or years it pays itself entirely. Then your labor only costs what you pay a mechanic to fix it and the fuel to run it. 😀🤖
That would be a waste of energy. There is little to no reason to farm mono cultures in open fields when there are more efficient methods of food production.
