How many times has a team lost to a good opponent early, then barely beaten a couple mid teams to go win the natty? Happens all the time. Look Georgia against Kentucky. We gotta believe that our team is gonna win. Tiger stadium is hard to play because even the fans bully visiting teams.
LSU is a name that everybody wants to beat. We get everybody’s best effort every single game. Big 10 especially wants to beat the SEC. I still see potential for a solid playoff run.

By rule, the home team must wear the dark jerseys unless the opponent agrees to a swap. Most of the time the opponent says ok, on occasion they do not give consent. Today was one of those days.

Coach Kelly was short tempered tonight. I think he is getting frustrated because he sees the possibilities like shutdown defense in the second half because the players are doing their assignments. Why can’t they do that from the opening whistle? I’m getting tired of these people who gripe about what we’re paying him. His agent negotiated a contract that was largely driven by the market for winning college coaches. I don’t blame him for trying to get the best deal. If a winning team could be bought Texas A & M would be the national champion year in and year out. Brian Kelly has done a good job rebuilding a program that was dropped on its head by the previous coach and athletic director (not Scott Woodward, the other guy). Do I think the Tigers will win the national championship this year, no, but I think they will surprise a lot of people with how well they do. Geaux Tigers!!
