Sorry. But you are confusing. You never homed your z properly. You also have no ohmic. Really in this day and age you are still using just the z float switch. I have both probe and float. If my probe fails due to rust and or poor continuity the float switch is a back up. Clamp your work lead to the plate itself not the slats. Also your saving of your job after you post process is confusing.
