„To celebrate the pack's 15th birthday, we decided to realize an idea that had been around for many years - it felt like now was the right time for it to be realized. As a birthday present to ourselves and all the legions of PW-maniacs out there, we have re-written the „Return in bloodred“-classic „Kiss Of The Cobra King“.“
Matthew Greywolf comments. „This song has been one of our faves ever since and it was a fun experience to transform this song into how it would sound if it were a song written by Powerwolf in 2019.
In fact, it has become a totally new song and we absolutely love it. The writing and recording-session for this one was truly special to us, as there was no album context, no huge framework, just a loose idea and the freedom to let it happen. And since a special recording deserves a special visualization, we went all the way and shot an amazingly weird video-clip - enjoy!“

My interpretation of this video is like this: The girl represents either Eve or the spirit of human innocence, and the members of the band represent versions of one or more of the Seven Deadly Sins. The Ringmaster represents Lust, the General and his dancing partner represents Wrath and Envy respectively (and Gluttony with that weird bit with the bread), the Gambler obviously represents Greed, and the Fop represents Pride, and I guess the Priest represents Sloth (and/or possibly Heresy.) The apple obviously represents temptation. They're all trying to offer her the apple. Obviously, at the end, she gave in, and took an apple from the tray. Which one it was is anyone's guess.

I love how this video has so much story and gives each member their own moment and unique costume. Mixing many new elements with some traditional Powerwolf traits definitely makes this to stand out from other PW music videos.
I feel like Atilla looks so different without the face paint. He goes from vampiric lycanthropic preacher of Satanic Catholicism to that one awesome uncle who slips you the 500 year old whiskey at Thanksgiving.

85% of the comments are about how it's not a cobra. Yea, we get it, damn we're all so disappointed our favourite musical artist didn't risk getting poisoned by one of the world's most dangerous animals for a music video and instead got a very large, beautiful python to hold instead.
First thing first: venom, not poison. :D
Second: Cobras are not even close to be one of the most dangerous venomus snakes. :D
And finally: This isn't a big python. :D This is a young burmese python, not even close in size to an adult one. :D

It's easy, there are max poison and min poison time of the year (and it requires travelling to cobra's homeland, right), other method is to bite-poison 2-3 other human beings (antidote is immediately used), and for next 12 hours snake can't bite to death, even if asked, it's absolutely safe. Let brutal - just catch it and "milk" cobra for venom - which was a regular operation for cobra's poison collectors (and still is, many medical drugs are based on cobra's and other snakes' venom).
