Not as many as hunters think, a buck can expend a lot of his time and energy in locating a doe near or in estrus, following, tending & breeding her and chasing off other potental sutors. A deer biologist I met claims it's around 7-10 does per season, some more some less and this has alot to do with deer density too.
IN your opinion, how many Doe will/can a Buck breed during the rut and /or during the hunting season?
