Why is it that anything ASMR suddenly becomes a huge interested of mine? So far I've been brain washed into everything from caligraphy to my personal favorite - how to properly fold towels and cloths. (Thanks to MGW, of coarse. lol) . I'm OK being brain washed to find mundane house chores interesting, really I am. :)

I am so addicted to this guys channel. I was getting ready for bed and my bf asked “where’s your AirPods? Aren’t you gonna listen to that French guy before you sleep?” It’s just so nice to listen to something historically interesting and not let me mind wander and get anxious about daily life. I didn't realize the colony of Roanoke essentially disappeared twice! The Chesapeake folks in 1587 were like, "Oh look - everyone has mysteriously disappeared without a trace! Let's set up shop here. What could go wrong?"

Hello sir. Thank you for your videos. I listen every night. This is my favorite though. I grew up in Georgetown, MA, 20 miles from Salem. We took several school field trips to the Salem Witch Museum. I actually did a report about Tituba, the slave girl that you mentioned, for one of my classes. Crazy stuff was brought down on those poor women because of what a bunch of little girls said. Vindictive little girls from what we all learned. (Not fact, only my personal opinion.) Interrogated = tortured. I do hope we have learned something from that horror of humanity. Again, thank you!
thank you. I spent a few days in Salem almost 10 years ago (it was for a wedding in Danvers, MA, you must know the place), and of course I went to the Witch Museum (my hotel was right across the street if I remember well). Another great memory from Salem: some of the best lobster I ever had 😅

Great job as always, yet I wasn’t in the mood for even hearing you mention anything paranormal so I decided to go through your old videos and ended up revisiting your video on history of Hollywood, which happens to be one of my all time favorites, and came back here to remind you that you almost completely missed out on New Hollywood, which I perceive as the most or one of the most fascinating eras and really don’t understand how could you get past it, and then later you explained that you did so because you was planning on dedicating a whole video to the more modern movie history and promised to make it soon, but some three years passed and you still didn’t (really not meaning to be demanding or rude if you’ll find it that way). So wish you would do it soon! And also wanted to yet again express my gratitude for your efforts and great great content, but being just a little bit demanding once more - I understand and respect your passion for history, but would love to see videos on some topics related more to some other fields of knowledge - like art reviews, rambling about your favorite music/places/people/view of some recent events/your life experiences, or videos on XX century history, particularly in separate outstanding events, aspects of culture, everyday life etc., maybe even some more roleplays - loved your obnoxious parisian realtor one! Fascinating.. I don't believe in ghosts, but when I visited the Salem graveyard a few years ago, I came down with an 'instant fever' .. and had to cut my visit short. Did the ghosts haunt me??? :) It was very strange to be certain.
Have you considered doing a Mystery ASMR on real-life witches? Like Helen Duncan, the medium in England. - During WW2 her freakishly accurate predictions of secret enemy and allied operations got her arrested for witchcraft; there was no explanation for how she could possibly know such sensitive information. Fascinating.. I don't believe in ghosts, but when I visited the Salem graveyard a few years ago, I came down with an 'instant fever' .. and had to cut my visit short. Did the ghosts haunt me??? :) It was very strange to be certain.
Have you considered doing a Mystery ASMR on real-life witches? Like Helen Duncan, the medium in England. - During WW2 her freakishly accurate predictions of secret enemy and allied operations got her arrested for witchcraft; there was no explanation for how she could possibly know such sensitive information. Very strange story

Étant française et ayant 1 niveau d'anglais assez basique, J'ai essayée de comprendre la vidéo, je l'ai écoutée entière... Mais, je n'ai compris qu'un mot sur 3, et donc pas grand chose au final! 😌

je ne ferai pas de VF de cette vidéo, mais as-tu essayé les sous-titres automatiques de youtube? Parfois je trouve qu'ils ne sont pas si mauvais même si il y a toujours des erreurs.

@@TheFrenchWhispererASMR le seul sous titre qui m'est proposé est en allemand... J'ai essayé d'avoir le français mais n'y arrives pas. Sur les autres vidéos, c'est en 🇩🇪 également... 😞
