I really like that deco’s miku has a more mature look and personality in most of his songs (Like Rookie, Salamander, Rabbit Hole, Blue planet, and half of the mannequin cast like Dilemma, Angel hair, Status effect: girlfriend ect). We dont get age diversity much in newer vocaloid songs and this is just a really nice breather. The way she talks, acts in the songs feels like shes an adult.
Feels like the perspective of someone desperately wanting a change of pace, either break from what they've been pigeon-holed into, or return to a previous form. Emphasis on doing what THEY want, regardless of outside opinion (which it feels they've grown to despise anyway, being super spiteful, at least internally, to people who adore them or have a different expectation of them). Wonderful song, it really got me thinking!

Starts out with some J-Pop Miku, just standard DECO stuff, and then all of a sudden American Miku comes in and throws some hard rock straight to your head.
Is just me or is this song a response to the backlash Rabbit Hole got? The lyrics definitely feel like Deco*27 (who speaks through Miku) is being rejected repeatedly after trying to be unapologetically themself. The lyrics constantly mention being bored or wanting to have fun (could be a desire to write lyrics of a sexual nature)
The Mannequin set was a lot about expressions of love/chasing after it; excluding VOLT TACKLE; Songs after it like Rabbit Hole, Cosmic Rendezvous, Blue Planet and now Rookie seem to follow a trend where its like focusing on yourself/wants, or just outright refusal of love to pursue what you ultimately want (whether in a positive way, or toxic way) Rabbit Hole had a lot of implications where the relationship is relatively toxic, or at the very least boundaries are constantly stepped on/lacks a proper commitment. Cosmic Rendezvous is about getting over the loss of love, and pleading the other person to remove the "spell" they left behind so that the person in the MV can move on, because they can't do it themselves. Blue Planet is about the loss of someone you love through circumstances, but forging forward while cherishing what was there Now Rookie seems to be in the same manner, where while not really a toxic approach or anything of the sorts, it's rejecting love to pursue what the person ultimately wants in their lives (dreams/careers/choices/hobbies/etc) 1:53 It's actually great that Deco's Old style peeks here, before totally getting washed out by the new song's tempo/vibe and it never ever returns again. Is Deco on his "Break Up/Moving On" Arc after all the love songs? Pretty cool not gonna lie, it makes a lot of sense when you look at Mannequin as a "Break up" song with them saying "Goodbye, please don't look for me" in the end.
I am so happily surprised this song!! I think it’s a great song for those who say Deco is getting repetitive with their song making. The visuals are beautiful and the English part sounds amazing, I’m wondering if the English voice bank was used since the pronunciation was so crisp. Also a big fan of the heavy rock break, boca rock is one of my favorite genres of vocaloid and I love when DECO dabbles in that sound because the result is always great. Amazing song DECO I know I’m gonna have it on repeat!!

The Mannequin set was a lot about expressions of love/chasing after it; excluding VOLT TACKLE; Songs after it like Rabbit Hole, Cosmic Rendezvous, Blue Planet and now Rookie seem to follow a trend where its like focusing on yourself/wants, or just outright refusal of love to pursue what you ultimately want (whether in a positive way, or toxic way)
Rabbit Hole had a lot of implications where the relationship is relatively toxic, or at the very least boundaries are constantly stepped on/lacks a proper commitment.
Cosmic Rendezvous is about getting over the loss of love, and pleading the other person to remove the "spell" they left behind so that the person in the MV can move on, because they can't do it themselves.
Blue Planet is about the loss of someone you love through circumstances, but forging forward while cherishing what was there
Now Rookie seems to be in the same manner, where while not really a toxic approach or anything of the sorts, it's rejecting love to pursue what the person ultimately wants in their lives (dreams/careers/choices/hobbies/etc) 1:53 It's actually great that Deco's Old style peeks here, before totally getting washed out by the new song's tempo/vibe and it never ever returns again.
Is Deco on his "Break Up/Moving On" Arc after all the love songs? Pretty cool not gonna lie, it makes a lot of sense when you look at Mannequin as a "Break up" song with them saying "Goodbye, please don't look for me" in the end.

I am so happily surprised this song!! I think it’s a great song for those who say Deco is getting repetitive with their song making. The visuals are beautiful and the English part sounds amazing, I’m wondering if the English voice bank was used since the pronunciation was so crisp. Also a big fan of the heavy rock break, boca rock is one of my favorite genres of vocaloid and I love when DECO dabbles in that sound because the result is always great. Amazing song DECO I know I’m gonna have it on repeat!!
