- Araku Valley is located at a distance of 115 km from Vizag, After reaching Vizag we did Sightseeing in Araku and proceeded towards Lambasingi.
Araku to Lambasingi - 92 km.
This video is about Day 3 of our Andhra Pradesh tour. Just in case if you have missed previous 2 days journey, you can check that out in our Andhra Pradesh playlist.

Following are the places visited by us in Araku before we left for Lambasingi.
Haritha Hill Resort - This is a Andhra Pradesh tourism property, decent stay, we did online booking for our stay here.
Check out time - Usually the check out time in hotels is 11 am or 12 noon but we noticed that at this AP tourism resort it was 9 am. Breakfast was part of our package at this resort.
If you are looking at traveling only to Lambasingi then you can go there directly from Vizag, we wanted to travel to Araku also so we planned our tour like that.
Araku valley to Visakhapatnam - 115 km, Araku valley to Lambasingi - 95 km
Key attractions of Araku visited by us given below:
Coffee Museum near Haritha Hill resort, entry fee - Rs 20 per person. There is a gallery at the museum which illustrates how coffee was discover and how it passed through various stages. You can even buy Araku coffee from this museum.
We tasted Arabica Filter Coffee - Rs 45.
Araku Coffee packet of 200 gm - Rs 260.
After visiting the Museum, we decided to see the madgada view point, popular for sunrise.
When we had planned our day, we had decided, we would also visit the below Tourist places of Araku, but due to paucity of time, we could not go to below places
Galikonda View point, Ananthgiri Coffee Plantations, Dumuku View Point, Tatiguda Waterfall.
Araku Tribal Museum - Entry fee - Rs 50 per person. There is gallery at the museum, where the life of Dhimsa tribe has been shown here. One can also do adventure sports in the premises of this museum like - zip line, sky cycle, commando net etc. Timings - 9am to 7pm
Hotel Annapurna Grand - nearby to museum, we had lunch here - Veg Thali - Rs 100
Chaparai Waterfalls - Entry fee - Rs 20, This is about 15 km from Araku valley. Popular picnic spot for the locals & tourists.
Matsyagundam - 35 km from Chaparai waterfalls, this place is not known to many, natural processes occur at the Machkund River.
We proceeded to Lambasingi, stayed at Dharani hill resorts, Room tariff - Rs 4000 for double occupancy. Experience of stay at this hotel was just average bcoz they don’t have any food facility, they get food from outside plus somehow i didn’t find the environment there comfortable.

Happy to see the beauty of Araku, Chaparayi cascading water falls, lambasingi etc. Excellent coverage. I visited this place some decades ago, when there were no proper roads, stay and food outlets. No doubt, a lot of facilities for tourists are created subsequently, sacrificing some part of the natural environment. As mentioned , Araku didn't get the attention and publicity as a popular tourist destination. So also, it's coffee as a brand for itself till recently.

I too like peanut/groundnut chutney with idli. The coffee house looks good, quite a common beverage in the US and Europe, but not too common in North India. South Indian filter coffee tastes good. Here, in Europe, Ghana or Ethiopia coffee is quite famous and the taste is next level. RASAM is an awesome recipe in South Indian cuisine. Everyone loves South Indian food. Chaparai waterfall is pretty good to watch. The river view flowing through black rocks was also mesmerizing.

Harish bhai , I am endorsing the thanks received from my friend who was suppose to travel by road to Alibaug has taken ferri to carry car from Bhaucha dhaka Mumbai to Alibaug at Mumbai and he could save time and energy by travelling by ferry. Which journey otherwise could have been stressful for him and his family because of medical issue. I have suggested him this rout which as I have seen in your kokan viedeo .He and his wifer specially called me to thank as they have relived by seemless travel and enjoyed the travelling by ferri. We even though stay in Mumbai but we are not aware of such good facility . Thanks once again Harish bhai. Stay blessed

Harish ji - Nice video. You need to plan Madikeri, Golden temple, Coorg, Dubare elephant camp. Various hills at Madikeri, highest number of waterfalls during rainy season.
Then Chikmangaluru again best place.
Coorg and Chikmangaluru is known for best coffee farms. Tata's and many MNC's own coffee estates. 100's of home stay in these areas wherein you will stay inside a coffee estate. These places have highest number of tourists from Bangalore.
Your Mangalore to Kundapur tour of 13 episodes was best. But you missed out Sita river rafting which is just next best after Rishikesh rafting.
Do cover these places as you really access and rate place very well. You convince your viewers by taking a decision to travel to that place.
